It is no secret that The War Within (TWW) Season 2 players will get a new traveling mechanic. We will race through the streets of Undermine(d) with the new D.R.I.V.E. vehicle. Here is everything we know so far!
D.R.I.V.E. Overview
D.R.I.V.E. is the primary mode of transportation in the Undermine(d) zone during TWW Season 2. Unlike previous travel methods, flying and Skyriding will not be available in Undermine(d). Instead, D.R.I.V.E. introduces high-speed, ground-based movement that is 3-5 times faster than traditional mounts and slightly faster than Skyriding at maximum speed. Players who prefer other mounts will still have the option to use them, though D.R.I.V.E. is designed to be the optimal method for navigating the new zone.

How to Unlock D.R.I.V.E.
To unlock D.R.I.V.E., players must begin the Undermine(d) quest chain, where they will be introduced to the mechanic by Gas Grimeshank. Early on, players will receive their first D.R.I.V.E. mount, the G-99 Breakneck, after completing the quests License Not Required and Shipping and Handling from Nanny Tallulah. This means players will gain access to their vehicle before fully exploring Undermine(d).
D.R.I.V.E. Mechanics
D.R.I.V.E. is not a traditional mount but a unique vehicle designed specifically for Undermine(d). Several key mechanics define the experience:

- Timed & Untimed Races: Only untimed versions are available on PTR for now.
- Shipping and Handling Missions: Navigate Undermine(d) to deliver packages efficiently.
- Surge Pricing Events: Competitive races against other players, activated by Nanny Tallulah.
- Timekeeper Events: Players can check available courses at Timekeeper NPCs.
