Mogushan Palace Heroic Dungeon Guide (WoD 6.1.2)

Intro

Mogu’shan Palace is a 5-man dungeon located in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms on Pandaria. The Normal difficulty version is accessible to players between level 87-90, while Heroic difficulty is reserved for level 90 players. The dungeon features three boss encounters:

5. Boss Strategies

5.1. Trial of the King

• Kuai the Brute: Avoid Shockwave; kill Mu’Shiba first to ease healer pressure.
• Ming the Cunning: Move away from Magnetic Field, avoid Whirling Dervish.
• Haiyan the Unstoppable: Spread out (max 10 yards) for Meteor, avoid Conflagrate.

5.2. Gekkan

• Priority Order: Kill Glintrok Ironhide → Glintrok Hexxer → Glintrok Skulker → Glintrok Oracle → Gekkan.
• Interrupt Abilities: Stop Iron Protector and Hex of Lethargy.
• Reckless Inspiration: Gekkan attacks 2x faster at 4 stacks.

5.3. Xin the Weaponmaster

• Avoidable Damage: Move out of Ground Slam and Circles of Flames.
• Phase Mechanics:
  • 66% HP: Blade Traps activate (streams of swords from walls).
  • 33% HP: Death from Above starts (arrows raining from walls).
• Survival Tips: Tank should face Xin into a corner near the entrance.
