What exactly is Waze?
Waze is a navigation app driven by community input, specifically designed for driving. It’s particularly useful for drivers, motorcyclists, and taxi operators. The app offers turn-by-turn directions and real-time traffic information, all thanks to contributions from users. By keeping the app active while on the road, users can report traffic congestion, hazards, and nearby gas stations with the best prices.
Waze offers a range of voice packs beyond the standard ones, catering to various user preferences. These include options in English, Dutch, and French. Some of the popular English voice packs feature well-known characters and celebrities like:

For instance, in heavy traffic, Thrall might calmly remind drivers to “breathe—this isn’t the end of the world.” Complex maneuvers like U-turns are humorously framed as “clever tactics to outsmart pursuers” or “a strategic retreat.” And if you take a wrong turn, Thrall reassures you with, “Forgive yourself. We all make mistakes, like I did when Garrosh became Warchief.”
While Thrall’s voice pack is currently available only in English and may be restricted in certain regions, the World of Warcraft pack itself can be accessed globally. Just be sure to confirm availability in your area before hitting the road to avoid any surprises.
