Shadow Priest Defeats Zeqvir Solo, No Armor or Allies
No matter how terrifying Zeqvir may be, some find fighting him not all that challenging, and so they seek additional ways to add some spice and thrill. Recently, a player known as UrsusMaritimu5 shared that he managed to defeat this villain at ?? difficulty level with his “Shadow” Priest—solo, without armor, using only weapons and trinkets—demonstrating that this battle primarily demands precise tactical execution rather than high-quality gear.

“I defeated Zeqvir solo on “??” difficulty with my unarmored Shadow Priest (using only a staff and accessories, no armor).”
Hello there.
I am obsessed with solo challenges whenever Blizzard adds them, and Zeqvir’s introduction was no exception. After the nerfs, I started attempting it with fewer and fewer gear pieces as a personal challenge, and today, I think I reached the logical endpoint—I managed to complete the encounter with my main character using just 5 pieces of equipment: a staff, two rings, a necklace, and an accessory.
Perhaps it could go even further, but I’m satisfied with what I achieved. I ended up with a very modest amount of intellect—38,000, which roughly equates to item level 550 or even less, and 3.1 million health, leading to several extremely tense moments.
As far as I know, this fight doesn’t scale with gear level, and for some reason, the Shadow Priest is uniquely suited to this solo challenge. Additionally, Zeqvir’s melee attacks are influenced by your armor type, meaning that cloth-wearers take significantly less damage from them.
Anyway, here’s the video. Enjoy!
