Siege of Niuzao Temple Heroic Dungeon Guide (WoD 6.1.2)

1. Introduction

The Siege of Niuzao Temple is a 5-man dungeon located in Townlong Steppes, Pandaria. It is available exclusively for level 90 players and features four encounters: Vizier Jin’bak, Commander Vo’jak, General Pa’valak, and Wing Leader Ner’onok.

The Siege of Niuzao Temple takes place at a Mantid Forward Assault Camp, where the Mantid army is attempting to construct a bridge to attack Niuzao Temple. Players must assault the camp and defeat its leaders before the construction is completed.

The dungeon follows a linear progression, beginning inside a hollowed-out tree and leading to the Mantid stronghold before reaching the bridge. Players will encounter four bosses and various Mantid enemies along the way.

4. Boss Strategies

4.1. Vizier Jin’bak

• Tank must survive melee attacks.
• Avoid Sap Puddle in the center of the room.
• Kill Sap Globules before they reach the puddle.
• Interrupt Detonate, which deals more damage based on the puddle size.

4.2. Commander Vo’jak

Phase One: Adds

• Use Caustic Tar to slow enemy waves.
• Avoid Sik’thik Demolishers, which explode on death.
• Stay aware of Sik’thik Amberwing aerial bombardment.

Phase Two: Vo’jak

• Tank should remove Rising Speed with Caustic Tar.
• Avoid Thousand Blades AoE.
• Dodge Dashing Strike, which targets a random player.

4.3. General Pa’valak

Phase One

• At 65% and 35% health, Pa’valak becomes immune.

Phase Two

• lade Rush: Dodge initial impact and knockback.
• Tempest: Party-wide damage—healers should be prepared.

Achievement: Return to Sender

• Throw 20 bombs at Pa’valak before defeating him.

4.4. Wing Leader Ner’onok

• Avoid Hurl Brick (tank damage).
• Stay out of Caustic Pitch puddles.
• Jump to prevent being encased by Quick-Dry Resin.

Bridge Phase

• At 66% health, Ner’onok flies across the bridge.
• Use walls and Caustic Pitch to avoid being pushed back.
• Interrupt Gusting Winds to make him land.
• At 33% health, he repeats the phase.

Achievement: Run with the Wind

• Talk to Tenwu after jumping over the bridge gap to get Tenwu’s Resolve.
• Kill Ner’onok within 2 minutes.
