The Anglers are a faction of fishermen located at the Anglers Wharf in Krasarang Wilds. Players can increase reputation with the Anglers through daily quests, unlocking various fishing-related rewards.
The legendary Nat Pagle leads the Anglers. Players can increase friendship with Nat independently of their Anglers reputation by turning in special fishing items. These items can be caught starting at level 85, while the reputation grind is unlocked at level 90.

1. Reputation and Friendship Overview
1.1 Daily Quests
Each day, players can complete three daily quests at Anglers Wharf. Completing a quest grants:
- 500 reputation per quest (+1,500 reputation daily)
- +1 Fishing skill per quest
When fishing in Pandaria, you may find items that can be turned in for Nat Pagle friendship. Each item starts a daily quest, granting:
- 500 friendship with Nat Pagle
- 350 additional reputation with the Anglers
By completing both daily quests and Nat Pagle turn-ins, players can earn 2,550 reputation per day with the Anglers.
1.2 Soggy’s Gamble Quests
Additional quests in Soggy’s Gamble (Dread Wastes) provide extra reputation for the Anglers.
1.3 Grand Commendation of the Anglers
Upon reaching Revered reputation, purchase the Grand Commendation of the Anglers from the faction quartermaster. This allows you to earn double reputation for faster progression.

2.2 Fishing Aids
Pandaren Fishing Pole, which requires honored reputation, is a fishing pole that costs 25 
and increases your fishing skill by 10.
Dragon Fishing Pole, which requires revered reputation, is a fishing pole that costs 500 and increases your fishing skill by 30.
Sharpened Tuskarr Spear, which requires revered reputation, can be planted in the ground to improve the fishing skill of everyone within 15 yards by 15 for 2 minutes. It costs 1,500 .
Anglers Fishing Raft, which requires revered reputation, enables you to travel on water and is a convenient replacement for 
Water Walking or 
Elixir of Water Walking.
Nat’s Fishing Journal, which requires revered reputation, costs 1,000 and can be sent to an alt. This alt can then use the item to increase its fishing skill by 50.
Nat’s Hat is one of the two rewards for reaching Best Friend with Nat Pagle. Equipping this hat, which costs 250 , will increase your fishing skill by 5 and using it will increase your fishing skill by 150 for 10 minutes.
Nat’s Fishing Chair is the other reward for reaching Best Friend with Nat Pagle. It will be sent to you by mail (credits to El’s Extreme Anglin’ for the information).

There are 6 friendship levels with Nat Pagle:
- Stranger → Pal → Buddy → Friend → Good Friend → Best Friend
Each level requires 8,400 friendship points (except Best Friend, which caps at 999/999).

To increase Nat Pagle friendship, turn in 3 special fish, obtained through fishing in Pandaria:
