The August Celestials Reputation Farming Guide (WoD 6.1.2)

Intro

The August Celestials are a faction consisting of Yulon, the Jade Serpent, Chi-Ji, the Red Crane, Xuen, the White Tiger, Niuzao, the Black Ox, and their followers. They serve as the guardians of Pandaria.

At level 90, players can increase reputation with the August Celestials by completing daily quests at rotating questing locations.

This guide details the questing locations, rewards, achievements, and how to optimize reputation gains efficiently.

1. Reputation Overview

1.1 Daily Quests

Each day, you will receive a daily introductory quest from Sage Whiteheart (Alliance) or Sage Lotusbloom (Horde) at the Shrine of Seven Stars or Shrine of Two Moons.

• White Tiger quests grant 1,250 reputation.
• Other locations grant 1,100 reputation.

Reaching Exalted reputation typically takes one month.

1.2 Grand Commendation of the August Celestials

Upon reaching Revered, purchase the Grand Commendation of the August Celestials from the faction quartermaster to double reputation gains.

1.3 Championing the August Celestials

Selecting the August Celestials as your Champion faction in the reputation panel grants additional reputation from Heroic dungeons and scenarios.

3.1 Temple of the White Tiger (Kun-Lai Summit)

• Daily Reputation Gain: 1,250
• Includes 1 solo quest and a 4-quest chain.
• Possible quests:
  • The Torch of Strength – Carry a torch through obstacles.
  • Contending with Bullies – Defeat Shonuf.

Daily Quest Chain:

• Round 1: Brewmaster Chani / The Streetfighter
• Round 2: Ken-Ken & Clever Ashyo / Kang Bramblestaff
• Round 3: The Wrestler / Master Boom Boom
• Round 4: The P.U.G. / Master Windfur

Achievement: Finish Them! – Complete both versions of the daily quest chains.

3.2 Temple of the Jade Serpent (Jade Forest)

• Daily Reputation Gain: 1,100
• Three daily quests from Elder Sage Tai-Feng & Storm-Sing.
• Final quest: The Shadow of Doubt or Flames of the Void.

3.3 Cradle of Chi-Ji (Krasarang Wilds)

• Daily Reputation Gain: 1,100
• First three quests:
  • Chasing Hope (Kuo-Na Quillpaw)
  • Gifts of the Great Crane (Yan Quillpaw)
  • Students of Chi-Ji (Thelonius)
• Final quest: Champion of Chi-Ji – 15 fight progression system.

Achievement: Champion of Chi-Ji – Complete all 15 fights.

3.4 Niuzao Temple (Townlong Steppes)

• Daily Reputation Gain: 1,100
• Main quest: The Unending Siege or The Siege Swells (350 reputation).
• Additional quests (3 out of 6 available daily):
  • A Blade is a Blade
  • Fallen Sentinels
  • In Battle’s Shadow
  • Paying Tribute
  • The Big Guns
  • The Overwhelming Swarm

Achievement: Yak Attack – Kill 15 Sra’thik attackers in 5 seconds.
