Key Takeaways
Apex Attachments are the late-game reward for mastering a gun in Modern Warfare 4. Each one rebuilds how a weapon behaves, so knowing which ones exist, what they cost in levels and which Gunsmith categories they lock helps you decide where to spend your grinding time. This guide lists all 28 launch Apex Attachments with their unlock levels, effects and restrictions, then points out the ones worth chasing first.
- 28 at launch: Apex Attachments exist for the primary weapons and pistols, spread over seven weapon categories.
- Max level unlocks them: you earn a weapon’s Apex Attachment by finishing that weapon’s Weapon Level track.
- Own slot, some trade-offs: an Apex sits in a separate Gunsmith slot, but many of them block regular attachment categories.
- Quickest unlock: the .50 GS pistol gets GS Magna at Weapon Level 37, the shortest track of all.
- They stay put: an unlocked Apex remains available after Weapon Prestige.
- Not everywhere: launchers and melee weapons have no Apex Attachment.
What Apex Attachments Are
Think of an Apex Attachment as the final prize of one specific gun: you get it by finishing that weapon’s whole progression track. A regular Gunsmith part only tweaks a weapon’s statistics, while an Apex changes how the gun functions. The Oden Sentinel, for instance, makes a semi-automatic sniper out of an assault rifle, and the Wz.55 Striga Rampage lets you dual-wield the SMG.
One detail makes them easy to fit into a build: an Apex does not use up any of your five regular attachment slots. You can still equip normal attachments next to it, as long as the Apex in question leaves those categories open. Some conversions swap out several weapon parts at once, though, and that narrows what you can customise.
Every supported gun has an Apex of its own, and you cannot carry it over to another weapon. Regular shared attachments behave differently: once you have unlocked one, it can be used on every compatible weapon.
Tip: think of an Apex as a new weapon role rather than a stat upgrade. If you do not like how the conversion plays, you can leave it unequipped and keep running your normal build.
Regular Attachments vs Apex Attachments
The table sums up the practical differences, so you know what to expect before you start working toward one.
| Aspect | Regular attachment | Apex Attachment |
|---|---|---|
| Effect | Adjusts the weapon’s statistics | Changes how the weapon works |
| Slot | Uses one of your five attachment slots | Has its own dedicated Gunsmith slot |
| Sharing | Usable on compatible weapons once unlocked | Belongs to a single weapon |
| Weapon Prestige | Locked again on a weapon that enters Prestige | Stays available |
Reading it from top to bottom explains why Apex Attachments feel like a different layer of the game. You do not give up a slot to use one, but you may give up several categories, so the real cost is paid in flexibility instead of space.
It also explains why progress with them is personal to each gun. Nothing you earn on one weapon helps another weapon’s Apex, so every conversion you want means another full trip through a weapon track.
How to Unlock Apex Attachments
The rule is simple: the eligible gun has to reach the highest Weapon Level it can have. Each weapon has its own leveling track, and finishing that track pays out the Apex Attachment for that gun. Here is the path to your first one.
- Unlock the weapon you want by reaching its required Player Level.
- Equip it in your Multiplayer loadout, or open it through the DMZ Gunsmith.
- Earn Weapon XP by using it in Multiplayer or DMZ.
- Push it all the way to its maximum Weapon Level, which is what unlocks the Apex Attachment.
- Open Gunsmith and put the new modification into its dedicated Apex slot.
Do not mix up Player Level and Weapon Level. You can pick up the M4 once you hit Player Level 14, yet the Hurricane Apex for it only shows up at Weapon Level 72. The conversion is waiting at the very end of the weapon track, so there is no shortcut past the full climb.
Getting to max level takes real time, and it adds up quickly when you are chasing several Apex Attachments at once. If you would rather skip part of that grind, our MW4 weapon leveling option can take your favourite guns to their final upgrades.
A useful way to plan is to treat each Apex as a small project with its own finish line. Pick one weapon, play it until its track is complete, claim the reward in Gunsmith and only then move to the next gun. Spreading Weapon XP over many weapons at once delays every single unlock.
Because the XP only comes from using the weapon in Multiplayer or DMZ, you also need to be happy playing that gun for a long stretch. A conversion you are excited about is easier to finish than one you chose only because its level number looked low.

All 28 Apex Attachments by Weapon Type
At launch the roster holds 28 Apex Attachments. They are split over seven weapon categories, listed below in this order: Assault Rifles, SMGs (Submachine Guns), Shotguns, LMGs (Light Machine Guns), Marksman and Sniper Rifles, and finally Pistols.
Not sure which gun to level first? See the Modern Warfare 4 best weapons tier list.
The effects range from explosive ammunition and new firing modes to enemy tracking and full weapon conversions. Each table below gives the unlock level, what the Apex does and which Gunsmith categories it takes away.
Certain guns stay locked until a higher Player Level, so their Apex track cannot even start before then. If your rank is what holds you back, a Soldier Rank boost can open up new weapons, Perks and Killstreaks without hours of ordinary leveling.
Assault Rifle Apex Attachments
Eight Assault Rifles have an Apex. Expect conversions, new firing modes and special equipment here: a few alter the rifle’s handling, and others give it explosive or electrical attacks.
| Weapon | Apex Attachment | Weapon Level | Effect | Blocked Attachments |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Han 86 | Han X20 Skybreaker | 72 | Integrated targeting optic and 20mm airburst launcher | Optic, Stock, Barrel |
| M4 | M4 Hurricane | 72 | Faster, more mobile 5.7x28mm conversion | Barrel, Magazine |
| Hyeon Burst | Hyeon Hyperburst | 68 | Opens with a rapid three-round burst, then slower automatic fire | None specified |
| Patriot XMR | Patriot XMR Volt | 72 | Electrical dart launcher that incapacitates enemies | Barrel |
| Kastov 762 | Kastov ARC | 68 | RF pulse disrupting infantry, vehicles and electronics | Barrel |
| Oden | Oden Sentinel | 65 | Becomes a semi-automatic sniper, with scope, suppressor and bipod | Barrel, Muzzle |
| Axion | Axion Clearcut | 69 | Chainsaw-style grip with enhanced hipfire handling | Optic, Laser, Underbarrel, Stock, Rear Grip |
| Cronen Squall | Cronen Maelstrom | 67 | Guided missile controlled through infrared targeting | Laser, Underbarrel |
No Apex suits every playstyle. Axion Clearcut is the heavy case here, since it removes five customisation categories. Hyeon Hyperburst sits at the other end: it gives you a different firing pattern and lists no attachment restrictions.
SMG Apex Attachments
Five submachine guns get their own upgrade, and the focus is close-range fighting, mobility and tracking enemies. You will find dual-wield conversions and incendiary equipment among them. Read the restrictions before you plan a loadout, because several of these replace regular attachment categories.
| Weapon | Apex Attachment | Weapon Level | Effect | Blocked Attachments |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ISO Nightshade | ISO Trace | 64 | Ammunition tags enemies and displays their movement | Optic, Ammunition |
| VEL 46 | VEL 46 Snap | 60 | Quick Draw with Overkill, plus faster weapon swaps | Stock |
| Wz.55 Striga | Wz.55 Striga Rampage | 60 | Dual-wield SMG conversion | Optic, Stock, Underbarrel |
| PPSh-41 | PPSh-41 Ember | 62 | Incendiary launcher creates temporary burning areas | Barrel, Underbarrel, Magazine |
| X-58 Nyx | X-58 Void | 53 | Quieter shots and reduced enemy tracking information | Barrel, Ammunition |
Shotgun Apex Attachments
Only two shotguns have an Apex: the Rezi 12 and the Warlord. They play very differently, one with explosive slugs and the other with a rechargeable strobe that disorients enemies. Both unlock at Weapon Level 60.
| Weapon | Apex Attachment | Weapon Level | Effect | Blocked Attachments |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rezi 12 | Rezi 12 Enforcer | 60 | Pump-action conversion with explosive slugs | None specified |
| Warlord | Warlord Lumen | 60 | Rechargeable strobe that disorients enemies while aiming | Optic, Laser |
LMG Apex Attachments
Three light machine guns have an Apex, and each one reworks sustained fire or ammunition handling: a faster firing mechanism, explosive rounds or a semi-automatic conversion. You unlock them somewhere between Weapon Level 56 and 65.
| Weapon | Apex Attachment | Weapon Level | Effect | Blocked Attachments |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FiNN LMG | FiNN Adverse | 59 | Higher fire rate with an overheating mechanic | None specified |
| Type 73 | Type 73 Assault | 65 | Top-mounted magazine with explosive ammunition | Magazine, Ammunition |
| APOC-338 | APOC-338 Praetor | 56 | Semi-automatic firing from a ten-round high-grain belt | Magazine |
Marksman Rifle Apex Attachments
Three Marksman Rifles have an Apex, and each approaches precision combat in its own way. The MAR-9 can become a fully automatic weapon, while the other two add specialised throwing or melee equipment. Unlock levels fall between Weapon Level 69 and 73.
| Weapon | Apex Attachment | Weapon Level | Effect | Blocked Attachments |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MAR-9 | MAR-9 Auto | 73 | Fully automatic conversion | Trigger Action |
| Oris 8.6 | Oris 8.6 Razor | 70 | Receiver-mounted module holding three throwing knives | Underbarrel |
| Mosin-Nagant | Mosin Harpoon | 69 | Retrievable ballistic bayonet with increased melee reach | Barrel, Muzzle |
Sniper Rifle Apex Attachments
The three sniper Apexes bring special projectiles, detection tools and incendiary ammunition. Requirements range from Weapon Level 54 up to 75. Their effects help against enemies behind cover and against vehicles and Killstreaks.
| Weapon | Apex Attachment | Weapon Level | Effect | Blocked Attachments |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| KG-7 Vulcan | KG-7 Drillcharge | 75 | Side-mounted projectiles penetrate surfaces, then explode | None specified |
| Astaroth .57 | Astaroth .57 Infiltrator | 54 | Sonar and RF pulses give limited detection through cover | Optic |
| Signal 50 | Signal Inferno | 74 | Incendiary rounds, more damage to vehicles and Killstreaks | Ammunition |
Pistol Apex Attachments
Pistols are where the Weapon Level requirements drop the lowest, and four of them have an Apex. You get automatic fire, an added shotgun, a tactical knife and quicker revolver shooting. No listed weapon has a shorter track than the .50 GS, whose Apex arrives at Weapon Level 37.
| Weapon | Apex Attachment | Weapon Level | Effect | Blocked Attachments |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SANG 9mm | SANG Breach | 38 | Single-shot 12-gauge shotgun attachment | Laser |
| Krait P68 | Krait P68 Commando | 38 | Tactical knife, better recoil control and melee reach | None specified |
| .50 GS | GS Magna | 37 | Fully automatic pistol conversion | Trigger Action |
| Mojave .357 | Mojave Lawless | 44 | Rapid hammer-fanning attacks from the hip | Trigger Action |
Note: the Weapon Level column is the weapon’s own progression requirement, not the Player Level you need for the base gun. During the beta a few extra Apex Attachments appeared as early seasonal content. They are not in the standard launch roster, and the expectation is that future events will bring them back.
How to Read the Tables
- Weapon: the base gun that receives the Apex. Each Apex works only on this weapon.
- Weapon Level: the level the weapon must reach to unlock the Apex, which is different from the Player Level for the base gun.
- Effect: the main change the Apex makes to how the weapon plays.
- Blocked Attachments: the regular Gunsmith categories you lose while the Apex is equipped. None specified means no restriction is listed.
When you compare two Apexes, look at the blocked categories as well as the effect. Two conversions that sound equally appealing can leave you with very different amounts of room for regular attachments.
You will notice that the pistols and shotguns ask for fewer levels than most rifles and snipers, while the long tracks cluster in the Assault Rifle, Marksman Rifle and Sniper Rifle groups. That spread is a handy guide when you decide where to begin.
Best Apex Attachments to Unlock First
Which Apex is best depends on the gun you like and the fights you usually take. A strong conversion adds a whole new option, but it can also strip out useful Gunsmith choices. Our advice is to prioritise an attachment that fixes a specific weakness in your loadout rather than unlocking things at random. The table gives the quick version by situation.
| Apex Attachment | Best For | Why It Stands Out |
|---|---|---|
| M4 Hurricane | Aggressive rifle gameplay | Higher fire rate and quicker handling |
| Han X20 Skybreaker | Objective modes | Airburst shells help pressure enemies behind cover |
| ISO Trace | Enemy tracking | Provides movement information after tagging targets |
| Wz.55 Striga Rampage | Close-range fights | Dual-wielding increases close-range firepower |
| X-58 Void | Stealth gameplay | Enemies get less sound and directional info about you |
| Oden Sentinel | Long-range precision | Scoped, suppressed semi-auto sniper conversion |
| Signal Inferno | Anti-vehicle and Killstreak play | Incendiary rounds increase damage against those targets |
| SANG Breach | Early Apex progression | An early-unlocked pistol gains a close-range shotgun |
Best Assault Rifle Apex Attachments
Two rifle Apexes stand out, and they solve different problems. The M4 Hurricane suits aggressive gunfights, while the Han X20 Skybreaker answers enemies sitting behind cover. Both are useful, though each forces some changes to your Gunsmith setup.
M4 Hurricane: Best for Aggressive Loadouts
The Hurricane reworks the M4 into a lighter 5.7x28mm version with better mobility and a higher fire rate. That makes it a fine pick for mid-range and close encounters.
The price is that Barrel and Magazine attachments are off the table. Build around that gap instead of trying to hold on to your old M4 configuration.
Han X20 Skybreaker: Best for Clearing Cover
This Apex gives the Han 86 an integrated targeting optic and an airburst launcher. You pick a target area and set off a 20mm shell in the air, which works well against defenders who have dug in. Note that a direct impact only produces a dud shell, so aiming properly matters.
It blocks Optic, Stock and Barrel attachments. If you play the objective a lot, the extra area control can be worth that loss.
Best SMG Apex Attachments
SMG Apexes help with close combat and flanking. We like three of them: ISO Trace for tracking, the Wz.55 Striga Rampage for hard pushes and X-58 Void for stealth. They each change your approach to a fight, so go with the one that fits your current habits.
ISO Trace: Best for Tracking Enemies
ISO Trace gives the ISO Nightshade special ammunition and a targeting system that marks enemies after you land hits. A built-in display then shows their movement and direction, so you can keep following someone who ducks behind cover. It is especially handy against opponents who keep peeking from the same spots.
Optic and Ammunition attachments are blocked. Players who care more about information than about raw weapon tuning should put it on their unlock list.
Wz.55 Striga Rampage: Best for Close Quarters
The Rampage turns the Wz.55 Striga into an akimbo weapon. It rewards aggressive pushes where fast movement and a high volume of fire count for more than careful aiming. Expect a learning curve, since controlling two weapons at once takes practice.
You lose Optic, Stock and Underbarrel attachments. Use this setup in tight spaces instead of forcing longer-range duels with it.
X-58 Void: Best for Stealth Builds
X-58 Void makes it harder for enemies to pin down your position. It lowers firing noise, hides enemy-death information and reduces directional hit indicators, which leaves you more room to reposition after a surprise kill.
Equipping it costs you Barrel and Ammunition customisation. It fits players who prefer flanking routes to long, direct firefights.
Best Shotgun Apex Attachments
Both shotgun Apexes are worth a look, and they serve different purposes. The Rezi 12 Enforcer brings explosive slugs, and the Warlord Lumen disrupts enemies in close fights. Each unlocks at Weapon Level 60, so the choice comes down to which weapon and mechanic you prefer.
Rezi 12 Enforcer: Best for Explosive Firepower
The Enforcer makes the Rezi 12 a pump-action shotgun that fires explosive slugs, which changes its damage pattern in close quarters. Try the explosive ammunition for a few matches before you decide whether it suits your normal shotgun style.
It has no listed restrictions, so all your regular Gunsmith categories stay available.
Warlord Lumen: Best for Disorienting Enemies
With Warlord Lumen, aiming down sights triggers a rechargeable strobe that disorients the enemies in front of you. Of the two shotgun Apexes it is the one built around disruption, not ammunition, and it suits players who like aggressive close-range play.
Optic and Laser attachments are blocked, so keep that in mind while building your Warlord.
Best LMG Apex Attachments
The LMG options take two different routes to sustained fire. FiNN Adverse raises the fire rate, and Type 73 Assault brings explosive rounds. Decide between faster shooting and specialised ammunition.
FiNN Adverse: Best for High Fire Rate
FiNN Adverse speeds up the LMG’s fire rate but adds an overheating mechanic. That makes long fights more demanding, particularly if you hold the trigger down. Control your bursts instead of firing without pause.
Unlike many Apexes, it lists no Gunsmith restrictions, so you can keep customising the weapon through its normal categories.
Type 73 Assault: Best for Explosive Ammunition
Type 73 Assault fits the gun with a top-mounted magazine full of explosive ammunition. That gives the Type 73 another way to fire and is worth a try if standard LMG builds bore you. You can claim it once the weapon reaches Weapon Level 65.
Magazine and Ammunition attachments are blocked. Check what Gunsmith options remain before you commit to this setup.
Best Marksman Rifle Apex Attachments
Marksman Rifle Apexes include some unusual conversions. The one we point to first is MAR-9 Auto, which drops the rifle’s normal firing behaviour in favour of fully automatic fire. Explore it when you want a break from slow precision shooting.
MAR-9 Auto: Best for Automatic Fire
MAR-9 Auto makes the marksman rifle fully automatic, so you can keep firing through an encounter instead of relying only on single shots. Try it if you prefer an aggressive approach to marksman rifles.
You need Weapon Level 73 for it, and it takes away the Trigger Action category, so plan the rest of your attachments with that gap in mind.
Best Sniper Rifle Apex Attachments
For snipers we suggest two Apexes with different strengths. Signal Inferno loads incendiary rounds for hurting vehicles and Killstreaks, and Astaroth .57 Infiltrator gives you detection tools. Both add something beyond standard long-range shooting.
Signal Inferno: Best for Anti-Vehicle Damage
Signal Inferno introduces incendiary ammunition that deals extra damage to vehicles and Killstreaks. That gives your sniper a second job besides picking off distant players, and it is worth considering when your loadout lacks a way to handle enemy equipment.
Weapon Level 74 is the requirement, and the Ammunition category is the one you give up.
Astaroth .57 Infiltrator: Best for Enemy Detection
The Infiltrator uses sonar and RF pulses to give you limited detection through cover. For players who value information, it is one of the more interesting Apexes, because knowing where an opponent stands helps you prepare the next shot.
Weapon Level 54 unlocks it, and Optic attachments are blocked while it is on. Test the detection first, before building your whole sniper setup around it.
Best Pistol Apex Attachments
A pistol Apex can turn your sidearm into something quite different. Our two picks are SANG Breach, for its added shotgun, and GS Magna, for automatic fire. Either one gives you an extra combat option while your primary stays the same.
GS Magna: Best for Automatic Fire
With GS Magna the .50 GS becomes a fully automatic pistol. That suits anyone who wants a sidearm able to keep firing, though you should check its recoil and handling before you trust it when an enemy is up close.
No Apex in Modern Warfare 4 asks for less than its Weapon Level 37. Keep in mind, though, that the base .50 GS is gated behind Player Level 41.
SANG Breach: Best for Close-Range Backup
SANG Breach attaches a single-shot 12-gauge shotgun to the SANG 9mm, so your secondary gets a second attack for close encounters. It is also an easy way into Apex Attachments, because the SANG 9mm is available from Player Level 4.
You get it at Weapon Level 38, and it blocks the Laser category. Pick it if you want to try Apex mechanics early in your progression.
Whichever you choose, remember that the picks above come from the Apex descriptions and restrictions, not from long matches with every conversion. Try an Apex in the Firing Range or in a few matches before you rebuild a favourite loadout around it, and keep your old setup in mind in case the conversion does not suit you.
Warning: an Apex can lock categories you rely on, such as Barrel, Optic or Magazine. Check the Blocked Attachments column before you spend hours on a track, so the reward does not clash with how you build the weapon.
How to Level Weapons Fast for Apex Attachments
Collecting every Apex Attachment is a lot of work compared with the progress each weapon needs, especially for guns whose cap goes past level 70. Several mechanics in Modern Warfare 4 can take some of the weight off.
- Begin with early-access weapons: the SANG 9mm is yours from Player Level 4, and its Apex needs only Weapon Level 38.
- Use Double Weapon XP Tokens: activate them during sessions where you focus on the gun you are leveling.
- Lean on shared attachments: compatible attachments you unlocked earlier can trigger Bonus Level Ups, which cuts repeated progression.
- Stick to one mode: Multiplayer and DMZ both award Weapon XP, so pick the one where you feel comfortable with your target gun.
- Check Gunsmith often: review the remaining unlocks before you move to another weapon or enter Weapon Prestige.
The long tracks are slow, so it is fine to keep only a few favourite guns for yourself. If you would rather hand off a bigger share of your MW4 progression at once, the MW4 Ultimate Bundle is another option to look at.
Tip: level the guns whose Apex you really intend to use first. A conversion you will never equip is not worth its hours of grinding.
One more habit is worth building: decide your order before you start. A sensible route is to begin with the weapons that have low Weapon Level requirements, collect those Apexes, and use them while you work through the longer tracks. That keeps the experience fresh and gives you something new to enjoy along the way.
For more ways to earn XP, read our Modern Warfare 4 leveling guide.
Gunsmith Restrictions
Apex Attachments have their own category, but some of them take over parts that you would normally fill through Gunsmith. The number of regular categories left to you therefore depends on the Apex you choose. The Axion Clearcut, for example, uses up five categories, whereas FiNN Adverse lists none.
Because of this, it is wise to pick the Apex Attachment first and finish the rest of the build afterwards. Find out which categories remain, then choose regular attachments that work with the new setup. You can also use the Firing Range to test how a build feels before you take it into a match.
The restrictions are listed per weapon in the tables earlier in this guide, so you can compare them before deciding which Apex to chase.
A Simple Order for Building
- Choose the Apex Attachment and equip it in its dedicated slot.
- Look at which regular categories it blocks.
- Fill the remaining categories with regular attachments that suit the new role.
- Test the build in the Firing Range, then adjust before taking it into a match.
Following this order avoids the common mistake of perfecting a regular build and then losing half of it when the Apex goes on. It is quicker to start with the Apex and fit everything else around it.
Apex Attachments and Weapon Prestige
An Apex Attachment you have already unlocked is not locked again by Weapon Prestige. Once a weapon hits its maximum level, it can enter its Prestige track, and its Weapon Level drops back to 1. At that point the weapon’s attachments are locked again, except for two kinds: Apex Attachments and Weapon Blueprint Attachments.
In practice, your Apex stays equippable while you level the weapon up again. Shared attachments remain usable on your other weapons that have not entered Prestige. The initial release update also fixed some Apex Attachments that were showing an incorrect lock status.
If your favourite Apexes are already unlocked and you want to push on, our Prestige Master leveling service moves you through Prestige ranks while those modifications stay available. You can also browse the Modern Warfare 4 store category for other progression options.
This is good news if you like to restart weapons for the Prestige track. You do not have to worry that the effort you spent on the Apex will vanish. Because the Apex stays with the weapon through Prestige, it is worth taking care when you choose which one to chase first.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many Apex Attachments does Modern Warfare 4 have at launch?
Modern Warfare 4 launches with 28 Apex Attachments: 24 of them sit on primary weapons and four on pistols. Seasonal events are planned to add more modifications later.
How do you unlock an Apex Attachment?
You unlock an Apex Attachment by taking its gun to the maximum Weapon Level. The Weapon XP for that can come from Multiplayer or DMZ, whichever you prefer.
Do Apex Attachments take up an attachment slot?
Apex Attachments do not take one of the regular slots, because they get a dedicated Gunsmith slot of their own. Some conversions still block regular attachment categories, since they replace certain weapon components.
Which Apex Attachment unlocks fastest?
The Apex Attachment that unlocks fastest is GS Magna on the .50 GS, which only needs Weapon Level 37, although the base pistol requires Player Level 41. New players can begin earlier with SANG Breach, as the SANG 9mm is available from Player Level 4.
Can you use Apex Attachments in DMZ?
Apex Attachments work in DMZ too, through the Forward Operating Base Gunsmith. Your unlocked weapons and attachments are available there, provided you have enough DMZ Cash to buy them.
Are Apex Attachments permanent?
Apex Attachments you have unlocked remain available after Weapon Prestige. They also stay tied to their own weapon: unlike regular shared attachments, an Apex cannot be fitted to an unrelated gun.
Does every Modern Warfare 4 weapon get an Apex Attachment?
Not every weapon gets an Apex Attachment: the four launchers and the FSS Carbon Edge 1095 melee weapon have none. At launch the system covers all 24 primary firearms plus the four pistols.
Can I use one weapon’s Apex Attachment on another gun?
One weapon’s Apex Attachment cannot be moved to a different gun, because every supported weapon has its own. Only regular shared attachments carry across compatible weapons once they are unlocked.
In short, the 28 launch Apex Attachments offer more than stat changes: they often give a familiar gun a new role. Start with one that fits how you play, then try the stranger conversions as your arsenal grows.
