Mythic+ Healer Tier List for Midnight Season 2
Snapshot of 12 October 2026, the eve of the 12.1.5 update. The three sources are Icy Veins (healer list of 24 September), Method (5 October) and wow.gg (11 to 12 October).
In Mythic+ Season 2, Holy Paladin is the only healer at the top of all three sources: S on Icy Veins, S on Method and S on wow.gg, with the highest average rating and a +23 key. Restoration Shaman is S on Icy Veins and A on Method and wow.gg. Everything else is grouped between B and D depending on the source. No healer is unplayable: wow.gg’s top-100 players reach +21 to +23 on every spec.

How to Read These Rankings
- Icy Veins grades healers on output, external cooldowns, utility, durability and mobility in Mythic+. It is the only list of the three that gives weight to what the healer brings besides healing.
- Method gives no written reason for any healer’s tier on its page. It changed Holy Priest from C to B in its latest update.
- wow.gg shows the average rating and highest key of its top players per spec, plus a tier. That measures who is succeeding with a spec, not how much the spec itself heals: it also reflects how many strong players choose it and which groups they get.
The gap between sources is large for three specs. Restoration Druid is A+ on Icy Veins but C on wow.gg; Discipline is B on Icy Veins and D on wow.gg; Holy Priest is B on Icy Veins and Method but first by average healing (197K). When the sources disagree, pick the healer you play best, because the wow.gg rating spread is under 500 points from first place to last.

Combat resurrections: of the healers, Holy Paladin (Intercession) and Restoration Druid (Rebirth) have one. Death Knights and Warlocks bring one too, so your group may not need a healer for it. Check your key’s composition before you decide.

Group composition matters as much as the healer. Icy Veins rates a “physical comp” (Arms, Windwalker, Outlaw, Retribution and Feral with a Restoration Shaman) highly in Mythic+, which is one reason Restoration Shaman scores better there than its healing numbers suggest.
Season 2 Dungeons and What They Ask of a Healer
The Season 2 Mythic+ pool has eight dungeons: Altar of Fangs, Den of Nalorakk, Murder Row, The Blinding Vale and Voidscar Arena from Midnight, plus Ruby Life Pools, Kings’ Rest and Temple of Sethraliss. Method rates Altar of Fangs the hardest and Kings’ Rest the easiest. Neither Method nor Icy Veins gives a healer ranking by dungeon, and wow.gg’s healer page has no per-dungeon view, so we cannot rank healers key by key. What we can say from the sources is general. Healers with a strong single-target toolkit (Holy Paladin, Restoration Shaman) lead the high-key lists, while Preservation Evoker has the lowest highest-key entry of the seven (+21) despite an A rating on Icy Veins.
Patch 12.1.5 Healer Changes
Blizzard’s 12.1.5 content update notes put five of the seven healers on the tuning list. The update reaches US realms on 13 October and EU realms on 14 October. The table says what changes for a key group and how much weight to give it.

What is the best healer for Mythic+ in Midnight Season 2?

Is Restoration Druid still the best Mythic+ healer?
No. It is A+ on Icy Veins, B on Method and C on wow.gg.
Which healer can interrupt?
Restoration Shaman, with Wind Shear. Icy Veins calls it the only healer interrupt.
Which healer heals the most in Mythic+?
By wow.gg’s top-100 average, Holy Priest (197K), then Restoration Druid (189K) and Holy Paladin (188K). High healing does not match the tier lists, which also weigh utility and survivability.
Is Discipline Priest good in Mythic+?
It is B on Icy Veins and Method and D on wow.gg’s rating view, but its top players still reach +22.
Will the list change?
Probably. Patch 12.1.5 changes five healer specs on 13 to 14 October.
