The Best Way to Gear Up in The War Within
Campaign Completion
WoW’s gear progression system is well-structured from the ground up. The developers have carefully planned each step of how you can obtain gear. In the early stages of The War Within, the best way to get started with gearing is by completing the Campaign. This will set you up for tackling Mythic+ dungeons and raids later on.

World Boss Gear
Another method for gearing up in WoW is by taking on World Bosses. While the gear they drop isn’t at the highest item level, it can still be a good way to prepare for Mythic+ and Raid content. While the equipment obtained from these quests may not be considered BiS (Best in Slot), it can still be beneficial until you acquire better alternatives from Raids or Mythic+ dungeons.
