MoP Classic Daily Routine for Phase 5: Quick Answer
Checked for Phase 5 on 12 October 2026. Hub values and thresholds come from Warcraft Tavern and the Warcraft Wiki, mount prices from Wowhead’s MoP Classic item data, and the rewards by standing from Zockify; the in-game tooltip has the final word.
Do the four big hubs first in this order: Golden Lotus, Klaxxi, Shado-Pan, August Celestials. Together they give the 489 item level pre-raid gear that Phase 5 raiders still use as filler, the Lesser Charms of Good Fortune for bonus rolls, and the Grand Commendations that double reputation on your alts. Everything else is optional and cosmetic.

What Are MoP Classic Dailies?
Daily quests are repeatable quests offered once per day by the Pandaria factions. They give reputation, gold, Valor and, almost always, Lesser Charms of Good Fortune. In MoP the old limit of 25 dailies per day no longer applies, so you can do every daily available to you. Reputation rewards are described in the section “Reputation Rewards in Mists of Pandaria Classic” below.
Why Do Dailies Matter?
- Gear: factions sell 489 item level epics with Valor and gold. They are useful as pre-raid gear before Siege of Orgrimmar, which is the Phase 5 raid. Our MoP Classic gearing guide shows where they fit.
- Bonus rolls: Lesser Charms from dailies turn into Elder Charms of Good Fortune (section below).
- Grand Commendations: buy one at Revered with every faction to double reputation on your alts.
- Collectibles: mounts, toys, tabards and cooking recipes.
Where to Start Dailies in MoP Classic
Each faction has a quartermaster near its quest hub. Coordinates are map coordinates in the zone:

Recommended route: Golden Lotus, then Klaxxi, then Shado-Pan, then August Celestials. After that, do the optional factions in any order. On alts, buy Grand Commendations on your main first.
Daily Quest Requirements in Mists of Pandaria Classic
- Golden Lotus: the chain starts at level 87 with A Celestial Experience, whose third quest opens the Gate of the August Celestials and the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. At level 90 you complete the chain from the Ruins of Guo-Lai through the Guo-Lai Halls, which opens the Golden Pagoda hub (Warcraft Tavern).
- August Celestials and Shado-Pan: these dailies once needed Revered with the Golden Lotus. The Warcraft Wiki records that patch 5.3 removed that requirement, and Phase 5 runs on the later Siege of Orgrimmar patch, so you should be able to start them at once. Shado-Pan still expects the Kun-Lai Summit and Townlong Steppes story first.
- The Klaxxi: play the main Klaxxi storyline in the Dread Wastes, in which you wake the Paragons. It takes you to Honored, and the dailies follow (Warcraft Wiki).
- Anglers, Order of the Cloud Serpent, Lorewalkers, Tillers: level 90 plus the faction’s own introduction quests, no big chain.
Mists of Pandaria Classic Daily Quests Rewards
Each faction sells a Tabard at Exalted and a Grand Commendation at Revered. Dailies also give small amounts of gold and Valor.
Toys from reputations: Cloud Ring (Order of the Cloud Serpent), Pandaren Scarecrow (Tillers, Revered), Gin-Ji Knife Set (Tillers, Exalted), Anglers Fishing Raft and Bipsi’s Bobbing Berg (Anglers, Revered). Four factions carry nearly all of the gear value. The rest are optional.

Key Factions Worth Prioritizing:
Golden Lotus and Klaxxi are the priority for gear, Shado-Pan for the trinkets and weapon enchants, and the August Celestials for bracer enchants and the Celestial Offering. The Order of the Cloud Serpent, Anglers, Tillers and Lorewalkers matter for mounts, toys and recipes.
Golden Lotus Daily Quests – MoP Classic
The Golden Lotus dailies are spread over hubs in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. The Golden Pagoda is the first hub to open, from Neutral, and has 5 quests worth 500 reputation. Two more hubs offer 4 quests worth 400 each; the third opens at Honored. Which quests you see depends on whether an area is “Under Attack” by the Mogu or “Quiet”. One elite quest is added each day for 200 reputation and a Treasures of the Vale loot box, once you have cleared your hubs.

Other sources of Golden Lotus reputation: the Ancient Guo-Lai Caches (Relic of the Thunder King +350, Relic of Guo-Lai +150) and the Hozen Peace Pipe from Scritch in Kun-Lai Summit, which gives 1,000 reputation with every Pandaren faction, once every 7 days. Buy the Grand Commendation of the Golden Lotus at Revered.
The Klaxxi Daily Quests in Mists of Pandaria Classic
The Klaxxi are the Dread Wastes faction. Their main storyline, in which you wake the Paragons one by one, takes you to Honored. After that they offer seven daily quests worth 130 reputation each, which comes to about 910 a day by our arithmetic, and Revered opens two more (Warcraft Wiki). The dailies focus on one area of the zone each day, and some areas have hidden dailies that start when you kill an otherwise ordinary elite. Dread Amber Shards drop from any mob in the zone, and Ambersmith Zikk takes five of them in the repeatable quest Seeds of Fear for 250 reputation.
Reward timing: Honored gives item level 489 waists and necks, so the rewards start as soon as the dailies do. Exalted gives the Amber weapons and the Reins of the Amber Scorpion (10,000 gold).
Shado-Pan Daily Quests – MoP Classic Guide
The Shado-Pan are in Townlong Steppes. Their non-daily quests in Kun-Lai Summit and Townlong Steppes take you most of the way through Friendly; the rest comes from the dailies at the Shado-Pan Garrison. Each day you take one of three daily packs: the Sra’vess mantid, the Shan’ze Dao mogu or the Yaungol. A companion joins you on the pack. One per pack is available from the start, and the other two unlock at Honored and Revered once you beat them in a Challenger’s Ring quest (Warcraft Wiki). At Exalted a short chain ends with Surprise Attack!, which rewards the Onyx Cloud Serpent. For pre-raid gear Shado-Pan is the best faction for trinkets and cloaks (Honored) and heads (Revered).
The August Celestials Daily Quests
The August Celestials dailies start from the Shrine of Seven Stars (Alliance) and the Shrine of Two Moons (Horde) in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. We found no reliable daily total for this faction, so here the rewards are what matter. Honored gives hands, wrists and feet at item level 489 and the Celestial Offering. Revered gives bracer enchants and the Grand Commendation. The Exalted rewards are the tabard, Pattern: Royal Satchel and the Reins of the Thundering August Cloud Serpent.
The Order of the Cloud Serpent Daily Quests
The first dailies, Catch! and Sweet as Honey, come from your hatchling in the Jade Forest. At Revered Instructor Windblade adds a racing quest, The Sky Race. At Exalted the quartermaster sells the Reins of the Jade, Golden and Azure Cloud Serpent for 3,000 gold each (one serpent is free from the story chain), and a Bind on Account Flight Log for 800 gold so alts can learn Cloud Serpent riding.
The Anglers Daily Quests
The Anglers dailies are at Anglers Wharf in Krasarang Wilds. Each day three of them are offered, drawn from a longer list, and each gives 500 reputation, so up to 1,500 a day (Warcraft Wiki). At Revered you can buy the Anglers Fishing Raft, Bipsi’s Bobbing Berg and the Dragon Fishing Pole, and at Exalted the Reins of the Azure Water Strider for 5,000 gold.
The Tillers Daily Quests
The Tillers are in the Valley of the Four Winds. Their dailies come from Halfhill Market and the Sunsong Ranch: five adventuring quests a day, aimed either at the Kunzen hozen on the Skyrange or at the Springtail virmen on Springtail Crag, never a mix, plus one to four quests you finish by growing specific crops on the ranch. Two Tillers members also visit the market each day with a personal quest, and Andi offers a gift quest for one of them; these raise your friendship with that member as well as your Tillers standing (Warcraft Wiki). Revered gives the Pandaren Scarecrow, cooking recipes (Spicy Salmon, Spicy Vegetable Chips) and the Grand Commendation; Exalted gives the Gin-Ji Knife Set and the Brown, Black and White Riding Goat.
The Lorewalkers Daily Quests
The Lorewalkers do not have a daily-quest hub. You earn reputation by discovering the Pandaria monuments. Completing all monuments for an achievement mails you a scroll that starts a quest, and you turn the scrolls in to Lorewalker Cho for reputation. Revered gives a Grand Commendation, and Exalted the Disc of the Red Flying Cloud (600 gold), the tabard and the Lorewalker’s Lodestone, Map and Mantid Artifact Sonic Locator.
Earning Bonus Rolls Through Dailies
Almost every daily gives Lesser Charms of Good Fortune. Fifty Lesser Charms buy one Elder Charm of Good Fortune, the currency for a bonus roll on a raid or world boss (Icy Veins; the cost was 90 before it was changed). Elder Charms are limited by a rolling weekly cap that started at 3 and grew by 3 each week at the expansion’s launch, so late starters can spend more at once. Check your currency tab before you spend. The Lesser Charms can also drop from rare mobs and special caches. Hub order for charms: Golden Lotus, Klaxxi, Shado-Pan.

How many dailies can I do per day?
Every one available to you. MoP removed the old cap of 25 per day.
Which dailies give bonus rolls?
Nearly all of them give Lesser Charms of Good Fortune. Spend 50 on an Elder Charm.
How long does it take to reach Exalted?
From Neutral, the steps add up to 42,000 reputation (3,000 to Friendly, 6,000 to Honored, 12,000 to Revered, 21,000 to Exalted). With Golden Lotus dailies alone at about 1,100 to 1,500 a day, that is roughly five weeks, and about three and a half weeks if you buy the Grand Commendation as soon as you reach Revered (our arithmetic from the figures above, not a measured time). Running several factions in parallel is slower for each one but faster overall.
Do I need to meet requirements first?
Yes. Most need level 90 and the faction’s introduction quests (see “Daily Quest Requirements” above).
Do dailies give Justice Points?
We could not confirm this for MoP Classic. Valor is awarded by faction dailies, so spend it at the quartermasters.

Dominance Offensive and Operation: Shieldwall (Phase 2)
These two Krasarang Wilds factions arrived with Phase 2: Operation: Shieldwall for the Alliance (Lion’s Landing) and Dominance Offensive for the Horde. At level 90 the story starts with the quest Meet the Scout. Reputation comes from story quests, dailies in four hubs and rare kills (500 reputation each for the three champions behind the achievement I’m In Your Base, Killing Your Dudes). The Alliance version has most dailies at 150 reputation, and a Beastmaster daily chain worth 200. Buy the Grand Commendation at Revered. The quartermaster (Agent Malley for the Alliance, Tuskripper Grukna for the Horde) sells Valor gear: rings and trinket badges at Honored, waists, feet and medallions at Revered. At Exalted the quartermaster sells the Grand Armored Gryphon (Alliance) or Grand Armored Wyvern (Horde) for 2,000 gold, and the last story quest (The Silence for the Alliance, Breath of Darkest Shadow for the Horde) rewards the unarmored Grand Gryphon or Grand Wyvern (Wowhead). Horde pre-raid picks include the Woundripper Medallion, Dominator’s Band and Skullrender Medallion (Icy Veins).
