Status in October 2026: What Is Confirmed
Updated 12 October 2026. Blizzard has not published its 22nd anniversary post yet, so this guide keeps what is in the game data apart from what is carried over from last year.
The only dated source is the in-game event calendar as indexed by Wowhead: WoW’s 22nd Anniversary starts on 17 November 2026 at 10:00 and ends on 8 December 2026 at 10:00. Wowhead lists the event as added in patch 12.0.5. Rewards, currency and prices for 2026 are not public. The best preview is the 2025 event, which used the same hub in Tanaris and no longer used the Bronze Celebration Tokens of 2024.

Every number in the sections below is marked as “2025” when it comes from last year’s event. Check the in-game tooltip and the vendor window before you spend badges.
Where and How the Event Started in 2025
Last year’s event ran from 16 November to 7 December 2025 at the Caverns of Time in Tanaris. You did not need a special item to join. A Holiday Celebrant in a major city offered the quest Another Timely Invitation, and the portals in Orgrimmar and Stormwind took you to the hub.
- Accept Another Timely Invitation from a Holiday Celebrant and take the portal to the Caverns of Time.
- Talk to Yllana in the central tent (about 52.9, 55.7). She gives Meet and Greet, then Shopping Squee!.
- Pick up the daily quest Celebrate Good Fun! from Yllana every day you play.
- Find the vendors around the tent, including Traeya for armor and Historian Ma’di for pets, mounts and toys.
Blizzard’s 2025 post did not state a level requirement, so check the quest in your own log. Quest and activity progress counted for the whole Warband and for a weekly Warband cap, so one character can do the weekly work for the account.
Timewarped Badges: Daily and Weekly Activities
In 2025 the event currency was the Timewarped Badge. It came from the anniversary quests and from Timewalking events. Neither Blizzard nor the guides we checked published how many badges each activity pays, so the table lists the activities and not the amounts.

The classic content around the hub is part of the loop: the Korrak’s Revenge battleground, the Blackrock Depths raid with its final-boss quest, and world bosses such as Azuregos.
Rewards and Prices: The 2025 Vendor List
All prices below are Timewarped Badges (TB) from the 2025 event, taken from Warcraft Tavern’s vendor tables. Treat them as a planning guide. Sources disagree on a few totals, and 2026 prices may change.
Armor sets: Traeya
The Eternal Tier 2 sets cost 400 TB each and are sold only as a complete, class-specific set.

The new transmog set of 2025 was the Loyal Watchman outfit, also from Traeya. Pieces cost belt 20, gauntlets 20, boots 30, cuirass 30, trousers 30, helm 50 and spaulders 50, which adds up to 230 TB.

Titles and PvP gear
Notary Grably sold anniversary titles for 100 TB each. They include the Enthusiast titles for each expansion zone group (Broken Isles, Dragon Isles, Khaz Algar and others) and four Classic titles: Grizzly Hills Hiker, Karazhan Graduate, Molten Core Prospector and Plaguelands Survivor.
The two PvP supply officers, Time-Displaced Thanthaldis Snowgleam (Alliance) and Time-Displaced Jorek Ironside (Horde), sold scaling PvP weapons and armor for Marks of Honor plus TB. Typical prices: one-handed weapons 2 Marks and 40 TB, polearms, staves and crossbows 2 Marks and 90 TB, rings, belts, bracers and shoulders 1 Mark and 20 TB, shields and tomes 1 Mark and 30 TB.
XP Bonuses and Classic Servers
In 2025 the retail event gave an automatic +10% experience and reputation for the whole event. The daily quest Celebrate Good Fun! added a second +10% for 12 hours (the buff is called Blessings of the Bronze Dragonflight). Blizzard’s post listed these other buffs that stack with it:
- +25% from the Five Warband Mentors achievement
- +10% experience and gold from War Mode
- +10% from the Draught of Ten Lands, for characters of level 49 and lower
The Classic clients got buffs and no hub in 2025. Mists of Pandaria Classic had Joyous Journey, +50% experience up to level 90, from 18 November to 9 December 2025. Classic Anniversary Edition realms had the Unrelenting Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer until 23 November 2025: +10% spell critical strike, +5% melee and ranged critical strike and +140 attack power. The lesson for 2026 is that Blizzard changes the currency and the price structure between years. A guide from 2024 that says “60 tokens per set” is out of date.
How to Prepare Before 17 November
- Check your Currency tab. Any Timewarped Badges and Marks of Honor you already hold are what the PvP vendors ask for.
- Decide your target. A Tier 2 set is 400 TB in the 2025 prices. The Loyal Watchman outfit is 230 TB. The 5,000 TB mounts are a long-term goal that needs many weeks of badges.
- Plan one character for the weekly work. Progress counts for the whole Warband, so the weekly world bosses, Korrak’s Revenge and the Codex can be done once.
- Watch for Blizzard’s post. It normally gives the final dates, the currency and any new items. Patch 12.1.5 arrives on 13 October. See the patch 12.1 guide for what the current patch changed.
