Brand-New Campaign: Vision of a Shattered Sun
The patch introduces a three-chapter story arc involving Arator and the Windrunner lineage. This questline acts as a bridge into Midnight, giving players narrative clarity for what’s coming next without requiring spoilers.
You’ll even earn the K’arroc Swiftwing mount mid-campaign — a recolor of the Koresh Karoks that fits the quest’s theme.

Two neighborhood types exist:
- Public Neighborhoods – auto-generated with random neighbors
- Private/Guild/Charter Neighborhoods – manually formed groups with up to 10 signatures
Players can fully customize exterior shells, interior placement, landscaping, and decor — with impressive freedom, including clipping, floating, and rotation.
If Midnight isn’t preordered, you can still visit other players’ houses and begin collecting decor.
Decor Collection System
More than 2,000 decor items enter the game in 11.2.7, and nearly all content sources reward them:

Pandaren Heritage Armor
At long last, Pandaren receive a full heritage armor set:
- Alliance (Blue)
- Horde (Red)
- Neutral (Black — source still unclear)
A new questline on the Wandering Isle also grants a rideable hot-air balloon toy.
Massive New Meta-Achievement: World Soul Searching
Completing:
- all 3 raids,
- all delve metas,
- all zone metas,
- several renown milestones, and
- the full Koresh meta
…rewards:
- Gear Grinder Mark 11 Mount — explodes critters when you mount up
- Drained Darkheart of Galakrond Decor for housing

Sky Riding Overhaul
Flying becomes cleaner and more intuitive:
- Vigor bar removed
- Surge Forward & Skyward Ascent share 6 charges
- Whirling Surge costs no resource (30s CD)
- New dismount button
- Aerial Halt unchanged
Overall, flying becomes smoother and less punishing.
Brawler’s Guild Returns
Starting one week after patch launch, the Brawler’s Guild makes its long-awaited return:
- same halls: Brawl’gar Arena (Horde) & Bizmo’s Brawlpub (Alliance)
- reputation system identical to past seasons
- challenge cards return
- new seasonal affixes
- new decor items
- two new mounts

Portal Room and Minor Changes
Stormwind and Orgrimmar both receive updates:
- older portals move to side rooms
