War Within Mounts in 2026 at a Glance
Updated 12 October 2026 for Midnight patch 12.1. Mount sources from world content are the least time-limited, but several War Within rewards are gone or much rarer than at launch. Steps for mounts that still work are from our launch-era guide and Wowhead data; check the mount’s Wowhead page for current drop rates and costs.
Our launch guide counted 37 new mounts in The War Within. Since then the Radiant Echoes pre-patch event has ended, the Season 1 Mythic+ and PvP rewards have closed, and the late-raid mounts became rare. The table is the short version.

Timelost Saddle: Catching Up on Seasonal Mythic+ Mounts
In patch 12.0.5 (dated 21 April 2026 by Method) Blizzard added the Keystone Myth achievement. You earn it by reaching 3400 Mythic+ score. Method says that means clearing all dungeons at keystone level 16 or higher. It rewards a Timelost Saddle, and the vendor Lindormi in Silvermoon City or the Timeways lets you choose an older seasonal mount in exchange.

Method also shows new recolors on the vendor (yellow, blue, green and purple Shreddertanks, a purple Amethyst Mechsuit and a Cerulean Deathwalker), and says the top 1% of Season 1 players received the Umbral Champion mount. 3400 is a high bar. War Within Mounts You Can Still Earn
Delves
- Delver’s Dirigible. At level 80, get the Bountiful Delves quest from Brann Bronzebeard at Delver’s Headquarters in Dornogal, finish your first Bountiful Delves run with the Restored Coffer Key he gives you, and take the follow-up quest Ship It!
- Ivory Goliathus. The reward for the meta-achievement Glory of the Delver: Delves Tier 8, Leave No Treasure Unfound, I TAKE Candle!, Spider Senses, Nemesis, the War Within Delves loremaster achievement, Sporesweeper, Just Keep Swimming, Daystormer and Brann Development.
Dungeons
- Stonevault Mechsuit. The Malfunctioning Mechsuit item drops from the final boss of The Stonevault (Eirich) and starts the quest A Mech in Need.
- Wick’s Lead. Drops from The Darkness in Darkflame Cleft on Mythic difficulty, with a daily lockout.

Raids
- Reins of the Sureki Skyrazor. A very rare drop from Queen Ansurek in Nerub-ar Palace on every difficulty.
- Reins of the Shadowed Swarmite. Reward for Glory of the Nerub-ar Raider, a raid meta-achievement whose parts need the whole raid to cooperate. The reins arrive by mail when it completes (wow.gg).

Professions
Crowd Pummeler 2-30 is an Engineering mount. At launch, buying the materials from Paxton Bombshell in Opportunity Point cost about 3,100,000 gold, so most players craft the parts with the Inventing and Parts specializations or buy them on the Auction House. Prices have changed since then, so price it before you commit.

Can I still get the Diamond Mechsuit?
Not from its original achievement, which closed with Season 1. You can choose it with a Timelost Saddle after earning the Keystone Myth achievement (3400 Mythic+ score).
Are the Remembered Golden Gryphon and Wind Rider still obtainable?
No. They belonged to the Radiant Echoes pre-patch event that ended in August 2024.
What happened to the Royal Voidwing?
It left the game when Midnight launched. The other late-raid mounts are still in the game but very rare.
