⚔️ Melee DPS
1. Arms Warrior (God Tier)
Arms Warrior is one of the most flexible specs in the entire game. It’s almost impossible to make a bad comp with one. In 2v2, they pair well with nearly any healer, especially Resto Druid or Mistweaver Monk. Their strength lies in attrition—slowly wearing opponents down instead of relying on quick burst setups.
In 3v3, Warriors shine with top-tier comps like WMD and Thunder Cleave. They bring Mortal Strike, outstanding control tools (Charge stun, Storm Bolt, Shockwave, Fear, AoE root), and one of the best defensive kits in the game. The Skull Banner ability makes them invaluable for team burst. Excellent in both RBG and 5v5 as well.
2. Windwalker Monk
Windwalkers are extremely powerful, especially in 2v2, thanks to incredible control, survivability, and burst damage with Tigereye Brew. They work with nearly any healer and perform great in dampening matches.
In 3v3, they synergize well with Mages and Warlocks. The Windwalker-Lock-Shaman comp will be one of the most played setups later in the season. With Storm, Earth, and Fire, Monks can split damage and act like a DoT class. While less dominant in RBGs and 5v5, they’re exceptional in 2v2 and 3v3.
3. Unholy Death Knight
Unholy DKs deal relentless pressure and benefit from Desecrated Ground, granting CC immunity. They’re deadly in 2v2 with any healer that can stun, executing deadly stun + silence combos. In 3v3, they fit comps focused on sustained pressure such as DK-Mage or DK-Demo Warlock. Excellent for RBG control and melee-heavy 5v5 teams.

4. Frost Mage (God Tier)
Frost Mage dominates even in 2v2, where casters rarely shine. Their mix of burst and crowd control makes them lethal — capable of winning games within a single Deep Freeze combo. In 3v3, they synergize with almost any class, leveraging deadly CC chains (Deep + Sheep + Silence). Also top-tier in RBG and 5v5 environments.
5. Elemental Shaman (God Tier)
While weaker in 2v2, Elemental excels in 3v3 as a support-damage hybrid. They control zones, disrupt opponents with knockbacks, and provide utility with Tremor Totem and Grounding. Popular comps include Thunder Cleave and Ele-Mage, later evolving into LSD (Lock-Shaman-Druid). Highly competitive in RBGs due to their consistent pressure and utility.
6. Survival Hunter
Survival Hunters stay strong throughout the expansion. In 2v2, they pair best with Resto Druid or Holy Priest and gain a big edge thanks to Entrapment, making them more effective versus Warriors. They bring strong sustained damage and control.
In 3v3, Hunters can run multiple comps: Ret-Hunter, KFC, Jungle Cleave, Beast Cleave, HLS. Pairing with an Affliction Warlock creates devastating dot-based pressure and heavy CC chains that exhaust enemy healers.
7. Affliction Warlock
A slower starter that becomes insanely powerful later in the expansion once high Haste gear arrives. In 3v3, Aff locks can play with nearly every class, especially other casters. In 2v2, the Boomkin-Warlock comp stands out as one of the strongest setups. In RBG and 5v5, Affliction remains top-tier due to its AoE pressure and control.
💚 Healers
8. Resto Druid (God Tier)
Resto Druid is the best healer in MoP Classic, excelling in every bracket. They combine mobility, CC, efficient healing, and even solid damage via Heart of the Wild. In 2v2, they can go for attrition setups with a Warrior or Monk, or CC-heavy setups with a Mage or Hunter.
In 3v3, Resto Druids appear in every S-tier comp: WMD, Thunder Cleave, Ele-Mage, RMD. Their synergy with Mages is unmatched (Cyclone + Polymorph), and through Symbiosis, they gain Ice Block — an extremely strong defensive. Top performer in RBG and 5v5 as well.
9. Mistweaver Monk
The second-best healer overall. In 2v2, they can even outperform Druids in deep dampening phases thanks to huge HPS. In 3v3, Mistweavers often pair with Elemental Shamans to cover CC weaknesses with Tremor, Grounding, and Wind Shear. Also among the strongest healers for RBGs and 5v5.
