War Within Crafting System Overview
Quality and Expected Quality
Every newly crafted equipment piece can have up to five quality levels. Crafted reagents and consumables can have three quality levels. Higher quality equipment has better stats and longer-lasting consumables. Hover over the icons near the bar to see potential high-quality items.
Optional Reagents
Optional Reagents allow you to set desired secondary stats, craft higher ilvl items, and add unique bonuses. Finishing Reagents can boost Inspiration, Skill, Multicraft, or Resourcefulness during crafting. For example, adding +30 Skill can help craft higher ilvl items.
Profession Equipment
Profession Tools and Accessories provide bonuses to Skill, Multicraft, Inspiration, Crafting Speed, Finesse, Deftness, Perception, and Resourcefulness.
Profession Knowledge
Profession Knowledge points function as “talent points” that enhance your profession specialization. Earn these points by crafting items or gathering materials for the first time. Most profession Knowledge gains are time-gated, with weekly resets.
Crafting Orders
Crafting Orders allow players to request crafted items from others. The interface resembles the Auction House and is user-friendly.
– Reagents must be provided by the requester.
– Completing orders costs nothing for the crafter and can yield skill points if applicable.
– Customize orders with Optional Reagents to specify desired stats or bonuses.
– Public orders can be fulfilled by anyone, while Personal orders are restricted to specific players.
Item Recrafting
Recrafting lets you upgrade existing items to higher ilvl without starting from scratch, using fewer resources.
– Recrafting doesn’t reroll secondary stats unless optional reagents are used.
– Add optional reagents to increase ilvl.
– Non-crafters can utilize recrafting through the Crafting Order system, but only via Personal Orders, not Public Orders.
