Intro
At Onlyfarms.gg, we love when a build not only works but also looks insanely good. In this Where Winds Meet article, we’ll walk you through how to unlock:
- The Phantom Thief full-black face accessory
- The Silver Fangs wolf mask
- A clever “cigar” cosmetic using a hidden axe
- And, most importantly, how to get double swords and double spears on your back using the rare Concealed Edge item and antique collections
Phantom Thief – Black Assassin Mask from Jailbreaker PvP
What it is:
Phantom Thief is one of the only fully black face accessories in Where Winds Meet, perfect if you want that classic assassin look.
How to unlock it:
Achievement you need
- Unlock the “Robbery Triumph” achievement by winning three matches as a Jailbreaker.
Game mode you play
- Queue for Casual Co-op → activity “Response to Every Prisoner”.
- This mode puts you into a 5v5 PvP escort scenario where you must break a prisoner out of jail and escort them through a labyrinth while the other team tries to stop you.
Practical team setup tips
- Use world chat to find teammates who also want the achievement.
- Aim for a full 5/5 party, including at least one healer – the continuous fighting while escorting the prisoner can get intense, especially if the enemy team is coordinated.
Match objective
- Break the prisoner out.
- Escort them through the labyrinth within the allocated time.
- Do this successfully three times in three different matches to unlock Robbery Triumph, which rewards the Phantom Thief accessory.
Coaching tip:
Treat this almost like a mini–arena: designate one player to peel enemies off the healer, one to stay close to the prisoner, and communicate cooldowns. If you’re struggling, consider playing with a premade group for a few matches instead of random queuing.
Silver Fangs – Wolf Mask from Wolf Maiden (Desperation Ridge)
What it is:
Silver Fangs is a stylish wolf-themed mask and a fan-favorite free cosmetic.
Where & how to get it:
Find the Wolf Maiden encounter
- Travel to Desperation Ridge in Kyong.
- tactiq-free-transcript-1zV5eiV0…
- You can reach this area normally through story progression, or even earlier through a drinking minigame that teleports you there ahead of time.
- Once you can access Desperation Ridge directly, head to the marked area on the map.
Set the correct time
- Adjust the in-game time to Wolf Time / Shu (pronunciation in the video is approximate).
- This forces the Wolf Maiden to spawn so you can start the fight.
Defeat the Wolf Maiden
- This encounter is described as one of the biggest boss skill checks so far, so expect a demanding fight.
- Focus on parrying and staying disciplined with your dodges—don’t rush the kill just because it’s a cosmetic reward.
Free the Wolf Maiden afterward
- After defeating her, leave the encounter and return to the arena area.
- tactiq-free-transcript-1zV5eiV0…
- On the left side, look for:
- A pack of wolves
- A small cave opening behind them
- Interact with the cave and you’ll see that you need a “useless log” to free the prisoner inside (the Wolf Maiden you just fought).
Get the useless log
- Travel to Ghost Light Market.
- At the start of the market, on the left side, enter the first shop.
- Inside, interact with the items on the left of the vendor to pick up the useless log.
Return and free the Wolf Maiden
- Go back to the cave at Desperation Ridge.
- Use the useless log to free the Wolf Maiden.
- You are rewarded with the Silver Fangs mask immediately.
Coaching tip:
If this fight is blocking your progress, you can always practice parrying on other bosses first or run co-op content to warm up. If you’re still hard-stuck on Wolf Maiden or other story bosses, you can let our pros handle the hardest encounters with a Where Winds Meet Story Bosses Boost so you can return to exploring and collecting cosmetics stress-free.
“Cigar” Cosmetic – Hidden Axe via Privateer of Loot
What it really is:
Technically, this cosmetic is an axe, but with some positioning tricks it looks like your character is holding a cigarette/cigar or kuban in their mouth, giving a very cool ronin vibe.
Getting into Secret Edict Chamber (without the normal quest)
Normal route (currently unavailable)
- Normally, you would access Secret Edict Chamber via a mission called “An Unholy Prophecy”, which gives you the keys.
- At the moment described in the video, this quest was not available, so the creator shows a workaround.
Workaround entry via Jade Mirror Pond
- Start at Jade Mirror Pond.
- Go to the cave behind the waypoint and progress through it:
- Clear enemies
- Climb a series of ladders
- At the collapsed bridge, look to your right, jump over the rocks to reach the other side.
- This path leads you to a final ladder into the temple.
Retrieve the keys from the temple side
- Enter the temple from this back way.
- From the main chamber with a large door, climb the ladder one floor up.
- Go into the back area on that level and open the chest there – this chest contains the keys to access Secret Edict Chamber from Old Village Ruins.
Clearing Old Village Ruins and unlocking the entrance
Go to Old Village Ruins
- Head to the camp in Old Village Ruins and locate the house the video highlights.
Clear the entire camp
- Defeat:
- All 21 enemies in the camp
- The boss that spawns at the end of the encounter
- Only after fully clearing the camp will you be able to enter the house and open the doors leading further down.
Enter the temple from Old Village Ruins
- Inside the house, use the doors that your newly acquired keys unlock.
- This gives you a second route into the temple and further into the treasure room.
Privateer of Loot achievement and the cosmetic axe
Navigate the tunnel and side doors
- Progress through the tunnel.
- Watch your left side as you go: eventually, you’ll see a second set of doors you can push open.
- This leads you to a room filled with chests.
Open all chests
- Open every chest in the room.
- When you clear them all, you get the “Privateer of Loot” achievement.
- This achievement rewards the axe used in the video’s “cigar” setup.
Cosmetic positioning
- In the settings demonstrated in the video, the creator adjusts its position so it sits at the character’s mouth, mimicking a lit cigarette or cigar.
Coaching tip:
Don’t rush this dungeon. The value here is not just the axe but getting used to navigating multi-path dungeons, spotting side doors, and checking behind “empty” rooms. This mindset pays off later when you’re chasing antiques and hidden rewards.
Concealed Edge and Double Weapons – Overview
Now for the main attraction: double swords and double spears on your back.
This is done using:
- Concealed Edge → a rare resource item
- Which lets you turn level 31 long swords or spears into permanent cosmetics (Silent Edge spear/sword) you can attach to your back.
You can obtain three Concealed Edges total by completing antique collections in three major regions and turning them in at Halo Peak.
Unlocking antiques & the incense burner at Halo Peak
Reach Exploration Level 5 in Kji
- Get to level 5 Kji exploration to receive the Memories item.
Go to Halo Peak
- At Halo Peak, look for the incense burner and the monk standing to its left.
- Give him the Memories item:
- This unlocks the antique system, a cutscene, and new interactions.
What the incense burner/monk gives you
- You can:
- Use “Reclaim Memories” to get back antiques you accidentally deleted (for a 500 coins fee).
- Check your Journal → Sentient Beings to see antique progress per region.
- Completing certain regional antique collections grants Concealed Edge items.
Verden Wilds – First Concealed Edge
Verden Wilds is your first major antique route. It includes:
- Bamboo Abode antiques
- General Shrine antiques
- Battle Crest Slope antiques
- Stonewash Strand antiques
Complete these and then talk to the monk at Halo Peak to receive Concealed Edge #1.
Bamboo Abode antiques
Old Spear (automatic)
- Start at Bamboo Abode.
- Interact with the objective marker to get the Old Spear – this one is basically unmissable.
Ritual Crown – part 1
- Enter the house at Bamboo Abode.
- Open the chest on the right side to get the first part of the Ritual Crown antique.
Ritual Crown – completion via General Shrine
- Go to General Shrine and enter the dungeon below using the gap on the left side of the temple.
- Progress to the final boss encounter and defeat it.
- Behind the large statue, there is an item that completes the Bamboo Abode antique collection.
General Shrine & Battle Crest Slope
General Shrine – first antique
- After the dungeon, climb the stairs/ladder to the exit.
- At the top, there’s a chest giving you “Bus Skins of Loyalty”, the first antique for General Shrine.
Northern Vow Ruins – shared antiques
- Travel to Northern Vow Ruins (the same place the creator got Touch of Death).
- Enter the courtyard and head into the dungeon below.
Battle Crest Slope – first antique
- In a large room with a waterfall, check behind the waterfall.
- There’s a headless statue with a treasure on top – this gives you the first Battle Crest Slope antique.
Battle Crest Slope – completion
- Go deeper into the dungeon until you reach a large pile of corpses.
- Interact with it to get an armor piece that completes the Battle Crest Slope collection.
General Shrine – second antique
- Behind the same pile of corpses, look for a table with Li Yan’s final words letter.
- Read it from your inventory – this completes the General Shrine antique collection.
Stonewash Strand antiques
Artisan Bracers – first part
- Near the Stonewash Strand landmark, on your first visit you’ll see immobilized NPCs and get Meridian Touch.
- Behind one of the NPCs, in a shack, there’s a chest with Artisan Bracers.
Artisan Bracers – second part
- Go west, to a house above Blissful Retreat.
- Inside, by the window, open the chest to get the second item for Stonewash Strand and complete the collection.
Cashing in at Halo Peak
- With Bamboo Abode, General Shrine, Battle Crest Slope, and Stonewash Strand antiques done:
- Return to the monk at Halo Peak.
- Use the “Antiques → Talk About the Past” option.
- You are rewarded with Concealed Edge #1.
Coaching tip:
Approach Verden Wilds like a mini check-list: do Bamboo Abode, then General Shrine + Northern Vow Ruins, then Stonewash Strand, and only then go back to the monk. This keeps your route efficient and prevents backtracking.
How to Use Concealed Edge (Level 31 Gear Requirement)
Having a Concealed Edge isn’t enough—you also need suitable gear to transform.
Gear requirements
- The item you transform must be level 31.
- It needs to be a long sword or spear (depending on whether you want Silent Edge sword or Silent Edge spear).
- It cannot be equipped during transformation.
If you try using Concealed Edge on random gear or currently equipped items, it will simply not work.
Ways to get level 31 gear
Downgrading your breakthrough (not recommended)
- You can revert your character’s breakthrough level to access lower-level gear, but this puts you on a 24-hour cooldown—not ideal.
Buying a Tier 31 gear chest (recommended)
- Go to the Seasonal Shop.
- Buy a Tier 31 gear chest and hope for a long sword or spear drop from it.
- This method costs Jade Fish but saves time compared to waiting on cooldowns.
Transforming gear into cosmetics
Once you have Concealed Edge and a level 31 sword/spear:
- Open your inventory and use Concealed Edge.
- The game highlights all eligible level 31 items.
- Choose the weapon you want to turn into a cosmetic.
- Confirm the transformation.
Important:
-
This is a permanent change. Once transformed, the weapon is no longer usable as gear, only as a cosmetic you attach to your character (for that iconic double weapon on your back look).
Coaching tip:
Don’t risk transforming a weapon you might still need for power. If your progression is still shaky, consider stabilizing your main build first. If necessary, you can let a pro finish harder parts of the story with a Where Winds Meet Story Completion boost so you can safely dedicate extra gear purely for style.
Sundara Land – Second Concealed Edge
The Sundara Land antique route is relatively quick: you only need antiques for:
- Mercy Heart Monastery
- Bodhi Sea
- Halo Peak (via the Silent Assassin chain)
Mercy Heart Monastery antiques
- Go to Mercy Heart Monastery.
- Head to the northern side of the outpost, behind the wall.
- Defeat the wolf in the area – it drops:
- Imperial Jade Hook
- A clue for the Dull Edge Blade antique.
Travel to Halo Peak and talk to the second monk (named Meow in the video) on the left side of the location.
With the hook, you get a special dialogue option that counts towards the antique collection.
Bodhi Sea / E1 Shan’s Dagger
- Progress the story until you defeat Bodhi Sea (boss encounter).
- After the mission ends, a tower nearby becomes enterable.
- Inside, look for a table with a knife on top – this is E1 Shan’s dagger, the key antique object.
- Take the dagger, then go to the second monk near the Porcelain Kil waypoint (by the lake/road).
- Interact with him to advance the antique interactions.
Silent Assassin side mission
- Start the “Silent Assassin” side quest near Mercy Heart Monastery by talking to Long Wu.
- Later, Long Wu moves to a location near Halo Peak, on top of a waterfall.
- Once you reach that spot, you’ll only find Long Wu’s corpse, but next to it lies a Dull Blade.
- Pick up the Dull Blade – this completes the antique collections for Sundara Land.
Claiming Concealed Edge #2
- Return to the monk at Halo Peak again.
- Turning in these antiques grants you the second Concealed Edge.
Coaching tip:
Sundara Land is more about following quest chains than crawling through long dungeons. Keep notes on which monks you’ve already talked to and after which bosses new dialogue options became available so you don’t double back unnecessarily.
Moonveil Mountain – Third Concealed Edge
Moonveil Mountain looks overwhelming at first: the menu lists 16 antique collections, but the video clarifies that only a handful are needed, and many are clustered around a few zones, especially Blissful Retreat.
We’ll follow the same structure as in the video:
- Heaven Spear
- Still Shores
- Blissful Retreat (7 antiques)
- Palace & Lucky 17 area
- Crimson Cliff
- Gleaming Abyss
Heaven Spear antiques
- In the village near Heaven Spear, go to the house behind the two food merchants.
- Talk to Auntie Tion to get the first clue.
- Follow the road up to a second house belonging to Jeang Da.
- Inside, look for a table with a chest by the corner – open it for the Peace Pendant antique.
Still Shores antiques
First visit to the clinic
- During your first visit to the clinic, go inside and check behind the ladder.
- Open the chest there to get Warding Chest Armor.
Second visit to the clinic
- Later in the story, you return and the attic opens.
- At the top of the ladder, open the chest to get the Water Lady Crown.
Well dungeon & Water Lady’s Notes
- Destroy the vines and climb down the well into a dungeon.
- Progress to the main room and check a bookshelf in the corner.
- Interact to get Water Lady’s Notes, which completes the Still Shores antique collection.
Blissful Retreat – 7 antique collections
Blissful Retreat is dense with antiques. The video walks through them in this rough order:
Old Bracers
- Automatic from story: when you go below the wine cellar, an objective marker gives you Old Bracers. This one is unmissable.
Willow Leaf Blade (2 parts)
First part:
- From the house that later gets ambushed, you interact with a drawer during the main story and receive the Willow Leaf Blade (first part).
Second part:
- At a campsite near Kilfire Ridge, after clearing enemies, check near the edge by the rock for a “Mysterious Account”.
- Reading it completes the Willow Leaf Blade antique collection.
Cicada Armor (2 parts)
First part:
- South of Blissful Retreat, there’s a house with a chest by the exit. Loot it for the first Cicada Armor item.
Second part:
- Follow the river near Blissful Retreat.
- Behind a large tree, interact with a weathered wine jar to obtain an account.
- Reading it completes the Cicada Armor collection.
Colorful Longevity Thread
- After progressing Blissful Retreat, go west of Flower Expanse to a small peninsula.
- Interact with a tree there for the Colorful Longevity Thread antique.
Crescent Ring (Everare Clinic dungeon revisit)
- Return to the Everare Clinic well dungeon later in the story.
- Follow a similar route as before, but this time a new “dust-covered chest” appears in an adjacent room near previously collected antiques.
- Open it to obtain the Crescent Ring, completing that collection.
Artisan Bracers (shared collection)
- The Artisan Bracers from Stonewash Strand also count toward the Blissful Retreat antiques; if you already collected them, this is automatically covered.
Lovelorn Handkerchief & Peace Bell investigation
Lovelorn Handkerchief
- In the same ambush house where you got the Willow Leaf Blade, open the chest next to it to obtain Lovelorn Handkerchief.
Peace Bell Tower clues
- Go to Peace Bell Tower, near a pagoda.
- Talk to the Elder Bell Ringer and exhaust all dialogue.
- Climb the scaffolding and collect six clues in the tower area:
- A clue near the gap behind a stone statue on the stairs.
- A set of knives on one side of the level.
- A red scarf lodged into wood before the exit.
- An incense burner on the upper level.
- A clue near the wall in the attic.
- A nameless book nearby in the same attic space.
- After collecting all six, go back down and talk to the elder bell ringer again (he moves slightly).
- Exhaust his dialogue to fully complete the Blissful Retreat antiques (7/7).
Palace area – Lucky 17 & antiques
The next group of antiques is around the palace area where you fight Lucky 17.
Engraved Bow
- Before entering the dungeon, go to the large house.
- On the top floor, at the back, you’ll find the Engraved Bow resting on a support.
Dusty Thumb Ring
- Go one floor below via a gap.
- In the room with the chest that gave you Mountain’s Might, check a table at the back for a chest containing the Dusty Thumb Ring.
Well-kept Promise Letter
- Go down two more stories using the elevator until you’re near the boss encounter.
- Before entering the boss room, look to your right for a secret area.
- At the bottom of that section, you’ll find a Well-kept Promise Letter – read it to get another antique.
Final palace antique
- Defeat Lucky 17.
- In the boss room, interact with a plaque next to the dragon statue using the fragment you obtained.
- This completes the palace antique collection.
Crimson Cliff antiques
Next, you return to Crimson Cliff, where you previously earned Blinding Mist.
Prerequisites
- Have the Blinding Mist ability and make sure you have drained the water as part of the mission.
Statue puzzle – three additional solutions
- At the same central statue you used before, you now need to solve the puzzle three more times.
- Press the big central button; the game plays audio cues indicating which outer circles to press and in what order:
- First sequence: clockwise, starting from a specific circle.
- Second sequence: counterclockwise, starting from another circle.
- Third sequence: starts from a different marked circle and again moves around the statue.
- After solving all three, a hidden chest opens at the base of the statue containing Lunar Bracers.
Divine craft dungeon – second antique
- Go to a divine craft dungeon located between Mercy Heart Monastery and the Bodhi Sea encounter.
- Use Immobilize to match the poses of statues in the room:
- Align the nearest statue with the one furthest in the back.
- When aligned correctly, a gate opens, letting you access a room with another statue inside.
- Interacting with it completes the Crimson Cliff antique collection.
Gleaming Abyss antiques
Finally, we have the Gleaming Abyss antiques—this is one of the last collections you need.
Accessing Gleaming Abyss
- Go to the location on the map shown in the video.
- Use Immobilize to set the statues into matching poses, opening the way inside.
First antique – Silver Longevity Lock
- In a room where you must interact with a group of ghosts, talk to the first set of ghosts on the left.
- When the cutscene plays, you receive the Silver Longevity Lock.
Second antique – Tang Palace Hairpin
- Before the entrance with vines, there’s a small gap.
- Go through it and you’ll find a chest containing the Tang Palace Hairpin.
Third antique – Elegant Letter
- Deeper in, reach the bridge cavern.
- Collapse the rail using fire arrows to cross.
- On the other side, you’ll meet two ghosts having a conversation.
- Next to them is a chest with the Elegant Letter.
- If it doesn’t appear, you may need to listen to the conversation.
Fourth antique – Tomb after the boss
- Defeat the void boss.
- Pass through the fog gate to the junction and take the left path.
- Interact with the tomb in that area to complete the Gleaming Abyss antique collection.
Claiming Concealed Edge #3
- With all required Moonveil Mountain antiques completed (Heaven Spear, Still Shores, Blissful Retreat, Palace, Crimson Cliff, Gleaming Abyss), return to the monk at Halo Peak.
- He will grant you the third and final Concealed Edge.
You now have three total Concealed Edges to convert multiple level 31 sword/spear pieces into cosmetic weapons.
Coaching tip:
Don’t feel pressured to use all three Concealed Edges immediately. It can be smart to save at least one for future patches or favorite builds—you might stumble upon a weapon model you like even more later.
Putting It All Together – Style and Progression Plan
To summarize:
Quick cosmetics:
- Unlock Phantom Thief via Jailbreaker wins in “Response to Every Prisoner.”
- Get Silver Fangs by defeating and freeing Wolf Maiden in Desperation Ridge.
