This section covers the competitive side of Destiny 2. Bungie's help center describes the Crucible Ops node as the home of PvP: a Competitive playlist, the general Control playlist, and a rotating playlist with modes such as Mayhem. Trials of Osiris and Iron Banner sit on top of that. Sparrow Racing League, which Update 9.7.0 added to Crucible Ops in June 2026, is part of the same group. Trials of Osiris
Trials is open on weekends, except in weeks when Iron Banner is on. It needs SMS verification and ownership of The Edge of Fate, Renegades or Destiny 2: The Collection. Entry goes through a Trials Passage from Saint-14, the Tower vendor, and each weekend has a featured weapon that drops more often. The lots built on it are Flawless Trials of Osiris, Trials of Osiris Custom Wins, a Loot Shower Bundle of wins after the Lighthouse, a Trials of Osiris armor set and the Lighthouse-Keeper emblem.

- Trials: Flawless and custom-win services and farms for Trials weapons, among them Aisha's Embrace, Forgiveness, Exalted Truth, Willful Hamartia, Burden of Guilt, Keen Thistle, The Messenger and Igneous Hammer.
- Iron Banner: event challenges, the seal, armor, engrams and event weapons.
- Crucible: Competitive ranks, the Crucible Seal (Glorious), Crucible Engrams and the Saint-14 Reputation.
- Racing: Sparrow Racing League services by races, wins and triumphs.
