The Ascendant Skyrazor is a flying mount from Nerub-ar Palace, the first raid of The War Within. Its reins drop from Queen Ansurek, the last of the raid's eight bosses, and only on Mythic difficulty. The mount was added in patch 11.0.2, and its form changes with the rider's riding skill and the zone.

The encounter
- The route: the raid is linear up to Rasha'nan. Ovi'nax and Ky'veza can then be killed in either order, followed by the Silken Court and Queen Ansurek.
- Mythic only: the reins are listed for Mythic Ansurek, and Mythic raids are fixed at 20 players.
- The chance: the mount is one possible item in her loot, so a kill is an attempt and not a certainty. Raids lock once a week per character.

No. The reins are tied to Mythic difficulty.
What if the reins drop to someone else in the group?
A Bind on Pickup item from an instance boss can be handed to other eligible group members for up to two hours after it drops. So a drop that lands while the booster and you share a group can be traded to you.
