This lot is the final fight of Salvation's Edge: the Witness, the fifth encounter after Substratum, Dissipation, Repository and Verity. Salvation's Edge is the raid of The Final Shape, set in the Pale Heart for fireteams of up to six. The last encounter is where Euphony, the raid's Exotic linear fusion rifle, can drop, alongside the raid's Legendary weapons and armor. You choose how many kills of the Witness the order covers and whether a red-border weapon is added.

What you get
- Kills of the Witness, as many as set under Number Of Kills (1 to 20).
- Buy Red Border Weapon: Not needed, or one red-border Nullify Pulse Rifle, Imminence SMG, Non-Denouement Bow, Critical Anomaly Sniper Rifle, Forthcoming Deviance Glaive or Summum Bonum sword.
- Extras: Euphony Exotic Guaranteed, Contest Team and Self-play (Sherpa).
- The loot from each final-encounter clear.
Rewards and timing
A red-border copy carries Deepsight progress toward that weapon's crafting pattern. Raid encounters and checkpoints reset every Tuesday, and two raids are featured each week with top-tier rewards, so the value of extra kills depends on the rotation. Work starts in about 1 hour and one kill usually takes about 2 hours.
Requirements
- The Final Shape on the account.
- A character that can enter the raid; the order is played up to the final encounter.
Witness kill FAQ
Is Euphony a sure drop?
Only with the Euphony Exotic Guaranteed extra; otherwise it is a chance per clear.
Which Exotics does the raid have?
Euphony, a linear fusion rifle, and Turmoil Engine, a sparrow.
Can I pick Summum Bonum?
Yes, the sword is the last choice in the red-border list.
