The Swift Spectral Tiger is the epic-quality half of one of the oldest World of Warcraft Trading Card Game rewards. It came from the Spectral Tiger loot card of the Fires of Outland set, released on 22 August 2007, and the card's online code is what put the reins on a player's account. This lot hands over the Reins of the Swift Spectral Tiger in game.

What sets the swift tiger apart

Quality: epic (purple), where the Reins of the Spectral Tiger are rare (blue).
Model: the swift tiger wears armour on its knees and tail.
Origin: redeeming the card's code adds both sets of reins, so the two tigers are twins. Both are ground mounts.

The regular Spectral Tiger is sold as a separate lot.

Binding

Since patch 3.2.0 the reins are Bind on Use. The item can change hands until somebody uses it, and using it teaches the mount to the whole account.

Is this what Landro Longshot sold in Booty Bay?

Before patch 3.2.0 the card code only unlocked a purchase from him, at 100 gold for the swift tiger and 10 gold for the regular one. Since 3.2.0 the code gives both reins directly.

Can all my characters summon it?

Yes. Once the mount is learned it belongs to the account.
