Each kill of an enemy more than 20 m away adds a stack, up to 2.
Your next hit on an enemy within 20 m spends the stacks and gives +35% amplified damage to enemies within 20 m for 5 seconds.
The regular Precision Strike holds 3 stacks for +20%, so The Drill needs fewer long kills for a bigger bonus.
The bonus fits fights that start at range and then close in: pick off the outer enemies first, then push the rest.
