Taeshalach is the sword of Aggramar, the boss of Antorus, the Burning Throne, the Legion raid added in patch 7.3.0. Since patch 11.0.0 the item binds to the Warband and can drop for a character of any class. It is a cosmetic: using it adds the sword's appearance to the Warband collection. The drop chance is 0.20% per kill for the Mythic-difficulty item.

What the item is now
- Patch 11.0.0 changed it from Bind on Pickup to binding to the Warband.
- The same patch let it drop for any class, not only for the classes that could wield a two-handed sword.
- Its "Use" line adds the appearance to the collection, and the item asks for level 45.
Odds per kill
At 0.20% a kill, the chance of at least one drop is about 50% after 347 kills and 95% after roughly 1,500. A raid lockout limits each character to one Aggramar kill a week, so the pace depends on how many characters take part.

Does it drop on every difficulty?
That is not established. The 0.20% figure belongs to the Mythic-difficulty item, and two more Taeshalach items exist.
Is it still a weapon I can fight with?
No. It is a cosmetic item now, with a "Use" effect that collects the appearance.
