The War Within Gearing Service FAQ
How do you gear up in The War Within?
For the most part, gearing up in The War Within remains quite similar to previous expansions. The best PvE gear is still primarily acquired from raids and Mythic+ dungeons, with additional options through the Great Vault.
The main change this time is the removal of the PvP Gearing track from the Great Vault, which has been replaced by a new World Track. This track offers additional gear through new Delves—short, instanced scenarios that you can complete solo or in a group of 2-5 players in around 10-20 minutes—and through various world activities.
Aside from that, the core approach remains: tackle monsters in raids and dungeons for the best-in-slot gear, or craft gear that aligns with your preferred loadout and playstyle.
What is the fastest way to get gear in The War Within?
If you want the best gear as quickly as possible, Mythic dungeons are the way to go. You can run these dungeons as often as you like, though only one high-level item drops per run. Running them with friends is recommended so you can trade rewards among yourselves. Or, with our Onlyfarms boosters, you won’t need to share any of your loot!
Crafted gear can also be a good option to consider for getting started. While the top-tier crafted gear may require raid components, you can still pick up crafted gear to help you through Mythic dungeons until you obtain higher-level replacements.
How do you get the best PvE gear in The War Within?
Raids are essential if you're aiming for the best PvE gear, especially the Tier sets that offer powerful bonuses. For the first season of The War Within, the primary raid to focus on is Neruba-ar Palace, where you can find the coveted Tier pieces. Regardless of your class or activities, Tier sets remain a must-have.
How do you get PvP gear in The War Within?
In this expansion, the PvP Great Vault track is no longer available. To balance this, the weekly cap on Conquest points has been increased, but the basic PvP gearing process remains similar. By participating in PvP, you’ll earn Conquest points, which you can spend on PvP gear. PvP gear still has a unique item level that scales up during PvP encounters, making skill and team composition more impactful than gear stats. This adjustment helps keep PvP battles balanced and enjoyable for all players.
