The Ghost Organization feature in Grand Theft Auto Online is a powerful tactical advantage available to CEOs and VIPs. It allows organizations to temporarily hide their entire team and any objective markers (such as Special Cargo or Business Goods) from the radar of all other players in the session.
This feature is crucial for executing high-stakes operations without interference. unlike Lester's "Off the Radar" service, which only hides the player blip, Ghost Organization hides everything related to your organization, making it the superior choice for business battles and sales.
How to Activate Ghost Organization
To use this ability, you must be registered as a CEO or VIP. Follow these steps:
- Open the Interaction Menu (hold the touchpad/view button or 'M' key).
- Navigate to SecuroServ CEO (or VIP).
- Select CEO Abilities.
- Scroll down and select Ghost Organization.
- The cost is $12,000, and it activates instantly.
Crucial Difference: Unlike "Off the Radar," Ghost Organization hides Global Signal icons. If you are selling a Bunker or moving Special Cargo, "Off the Radar" will hide your arrow but NOT the red cargo box on the map. Ghost Organization hides both, making you truly invisible.
Strategic Advantages
Ghost Organization is best used in specific high-pressure situations:
- Safe Deliveries: Activate it right before the "Global Signal" broadcasts your location to the lobby (usually a few seconds after starting a Sell Mission) to buy yourself 3 minutes of peace.
- Surprise Attacks: Use it to flank rival organizations or "Tryhards" who are pinning you down. They won't see you coming until it's too late.
- Business Battles: When carrying Event Cargo, activating Ghost Org hides the crate icon, preventing the entire lobby from converging on your location.
