General Gaming Wiki
Gaming has its own language. Teammates call a "rotation", patch notes promise "desync fixes", and the settings menu asks whether you want render scale at 80 or 100 percent. This part of the Onlyfarms wiki explains the words that turn up in almost every game rather than in one title: the slang you see in chat, combat and shooter mechanics, interface and control options, graphics and performance settings, online and server terms, and the rules around bans and mods.
Each entry answers three questions in plain English: what the term means, where you will run into it, and what it changes for you as a player. When a word means different things in different games, the entry says so and gives real examples.
The terms below are grouped by topic, so you can read a whole area in one go — everything that affects how smoothly your game runs, for example, or the vocabulary you need to follow a dungeon run or a ranked match. Concepts that exist in only one game, such as a Tarkov hideout module or a Path of Exile 2 support gem, live in that game's wiki instead.
