Monster Hunter Wilds Wiki
This section collects the vocabulary of Monster Hunter Wilds in three topic glossaries, listed A-Z below. The weapons and combat glossary covers the 14 weapon types and the systems new to this game: Focus Mode, the wounds you open by hitting one body part, Offset attacks, Perfect Guard and the second weapon your Seikret carries.
Progress terms are in the ranks, quests and monster variants glossary: Hunter Rank and the HR 100 gate for the hardest hunts, Investigations, event quests, and how Tempered, Arch-tempered and Alpha monsters differ. It also notes that Master Rank is not in the current game and is planned for the Ascendance expansion in 2027. The gear, crafting and farming glossary deals with Zenny, Armor Spheres, decorations, talismans and Artian and Gogma Artian weapons, and ends with a table of where each endgame material comes from.
Longer walkthroughs are in our Monster Hunter Wilds guides, and Onlyfarms lists Monster Hunter Wilds services for gearing, farming and leveling. Words shared by many games, such as grinding or transmog, are explained in the general gaming wiki.
