Skills in Path of Exile 2 come from gems, and gems come from a wide web of materials: uncut gems to cut, currencies that raise quality, omens that steer crafting and cores that fill sockets. Gathering all of it takes many evenings. This section lets you order the amount you need, and our players hand it over in game so the build can be finished without the grind.
Uncut Gems and Lineage Supports
Uncut gems are the raw material for new skills and for upgrading existing ones. Choose between skill, spirit and support gems, set the gem level and the amount on a slider, and the gems arrive on your character. Players who want several types at once can use the gem packs, which come in sizes of six, twelve, eighteen and thirty. Lineage Support Gems are chosen by name from a list, which matters because only one copy of each can be socketed across all your skills.
Quality Currencies
Quality items add a little power to every piece of gear. The Gemcutter's Prism improves skill gems, the Glassblower's Bauble flasks, the Arcanist's Etcher wands, staves and sceptres, the Armourer's Scrap armour and the Blacksmith's Whetstone martial weapons. Catalysts add quality to rings, amulets and belts in twelve types, and each type pushes a different group of modifiers.
Crafting Tools
Omens change what the next orb does, or soften the experience lost on death, and they are rare drops. Distilled Emotions come from Delirium and are used on amulets or on maps, in ten types from Guilt to Fear. Soul Cores go into gear sockets and offer modifiers that runes do not, in fifteen types.
Mapping Materials
Waystones open maps on the Atlas, and the section lists every tier from 1 to 16 in amounts from 5 to 500. Breachstones unlock the fight with the Breach boss Xesht without collecting hundreds of splinters.
How Materials Reach You
- Pick the material, the amount and the league you play in.
- A manager contacts you on Discord or in chat, goes through the order and sets a time for the handover.
- The booster gathers what you ordered and hands it to your character in the game world.
- Open your inventory to check the delivery, then the order is complete.
No login is needed, and Express or Super Express puts the order higher in the queue.
Planning Gem Orders
Count the slots your build uses before ordering. A typical build needs one skill gem for each active skill, several support gems for each of them and one or two spirit gems for persistent buffs. Higher gem levels can be used only by higher-level characters, so do not order the top level if the character is still climbing. Lineage supports are limited to one copy each, which makes it easy to choose exactly the ones you need.
Crafting With the Materials
Quality currencies are best used before the gear is finished, since a higher quality adds a small bonus to the item. Omens work with the orb that comes next, and catalysts are applied to jewelry before the final modifiers are set. If you plan a long crafting session, ordering all materials in advance means the session does not stop for missing ingredients. Waystones and Breachstones are the exception: they are used up by mapping, so order them in the amounts you expect to run, and add more later if the session goes well. Soul Cores are different again, because each core fits a particular socket type, so check the sockets on your gear first.

Gems FAQ
What are uncut gems used for?
They are cut into skill, spirit or support gems in the gemcutting menu, or used to upgrade gems you already have.
Does my character level matter for gems?
Yes. Higher gem levels need a higher character level, for example a level 5 skill gem needs a level 14 character. The lot page lists the pairs.
Can I order several materials at once?
Each lot is its own order, but you can place several in a row, and the manager will arrange the handover together.
Which leagues are supported?
The current league on most lots, with Forbidden Rites, Runes of Aldur and Standard on the gem lots that list them.
How are the materials delivered?
In game, through a handover arranged with the manager at a time that suits you.
