Gearing is the section for services that put better equipment on a character that already plays the endgame. It covers pieces with chosen stats, Masterworking, gems, Runewords, the Talisman, the Codex of Power and a review of an existing build. Single items live in two subsections, Unique Items and Mythic Items. This page explains the systems behind the rest.

Gear systems in Season 15
Season of Hell's Legacy, live since 15 September 2026, changed how gear is crafted. The Horadric Cube gained two recipes. Affix Value Reroll rerolls all base affixes on equipment and on Talisman items, Charms and Seals, while it protects Greater Affixes, Enchanted affixes, Tempers and Transfigurations. Horadric Reroll is a second way to reroll Legendary or better Charms and Seals: it randomizes every base affix and leaves set bonuses and Unique or Mythic charm powers alone.
Mythic Uniques can now be made in three ways: the Horadric Cube recipe that upgrades a chosen item directly to Mythic, the Jeweler's rune crafting and the Blacksmith's Mythic cache, which also has a version that rolls only Iconic Mythics. The Season Blessings include an Urn of Masterworking, which raises the chance of extra Obducite, and an Urn of Ancestral Whispers, which raises the chance of an Ancestral cache when Whispers are turned in. Since patch 3.2.1 every Unique can drop from level 1 and on any difficulty.
What the section sells
- BiS Ancestral Gear: Ancestral pieces for the slots you tick, with one, two or three chosen stats.
- Legendary Items and Masterworking Boost: Legendary pieces, and Quality upgrades at the Blacksmith.
- Gems: the seven gem types in the Grand, Horadric and Flawless Horadric tiers.
- Runewords, Legacy Runes and the Mythic Runewords Bundle: runes and finished Runewords.
- Talisman Seals and Talisman Charms: the Seal that opens the Charm slots, and the Charms and Charm sets that fill them.
- Codex of Power Boost: Legendary Aspects for the Codex.
- Build Check: a review of an existing build.
- Helltide Farming, Infernal Compass and Infernal Hordes: farming activities that feed the gear loop.
Talisman, Charms and Seals
The Talisman is the Lord of Hatred system for Charms and set bonuses. A Seal sits at its center and decides how many Charm slots open, up to six, while the Charms in those slots add stats and, as a set, extra bonuses. The Season 15 Season Rank caches include Talisman Charms and Seals, and the new Horadric Reroll recipe re-rolls the base affixes of a Legendary or better Charm or Seal without touching its set bonuses.
Gems and Soul Splinters
The seven gem types are Amethyst, Diamond, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Skull and Topaz. Soul Splinters, the Season 15 gems for jewelry slots, are a separate kind of item: up to three can be worn, each gives a boon with a liability, and the Horadric Cube's Amalgamation recipe upgrades Splinters of the same type and rarity to the next rarity.
Which expansion a service needs
Blizzard lists the Talisman, with its Seals and Charms, and the Horadric Cube as systems that require a Lord of Hatred purchase, so services that end in a Charm, a Seal or a Cube craft ask for that expansion. Runewords came with Vessel of Hatred, and every Lord of Hatred edition includes Vessel of Hatred. The product page of each lot states its own requirements.
Trading and account binding
Items can normally be traded until they are Masterworked, Tempered or changed in the Horadric Cube. Mythic Uniques are the exception: they are bound to the account that receives them. The Mythic Items lots offer Piloted as their only Delivery Method.
Where do single Unique and Mythic items sit?
In the two subsections of Gearing: Unique Items for regular Uniques, including the nine Legacy Uniques of Season 15, and Mythic Items for Mythic Uniques and the Mythic gear bundles.
Do all gearing services need Lord of Hatred?
No. Ancestral gear, Masterworking and Legendary items do not depend on the expansion systems, while Charms, Seals and Cube crafts do.
Do these services stay valid after the season ends?
Most of them are not tied to a season, but the Season 15 recipes and Blessings may change when the next season starts, so the section is reviewed then.
