Gems are the socketable stones of Diablo 4: each type gives one bonus in a weapon, another in armor and a third in jewelry. Lord of Hatred added two tiers above Grand, Horadric and Flawless Horadric, made with the Amalgamation recipe in the Horadric Cube. This lot delivers gems of the tier you pick, from 5 to 25 at a time, and you name the gem types after payment.

What you get

  • Difficulty sets the gem tier: Grand, Horadric or Flawless Horadric.
  • Gems Amount: a slider from 5 to 25 in steps of 5.
  • Realm: Seasonal, Seasonal Hardcore, Eternal or Eternal Hardcore.
  • The mix of Amethyst, Diamond, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Skull and Topaz is agreed with the manager in live chat or Discord.

What each gem gives in a weapon

Since update 3.0 a gem in a weapon adds a multiplicative damage bonus of its own kind:

  • Amethyst: Shadow damage. Diamond: all damage.
  • Emerald: Poison damage. Ruby: Fire and Holy damage.
  • Sapphire: Cold damage. Skull: Physical damage. Topaz: Lightning damage.

How the tiers connect

  • The Jeweler crafts Royal and Grand gems. Patch 3.2.1 cut the Forgotten Soul cost of a Grand gem from 300 to 50.
  • Amalgamation turns 5 Grand gems of one type into a Horadric gem, and 5 Horadric gems into a Flawless Horadric gem, so one Flawless Horadric stands for 25 Grand gems.
  • Soul Splinters, the Season 15 gems for jewelry, are a separate item and not part of this lot.
Note: the Horadric Cube belongs to the Lord of Hatred expansion, so an account without it cannot craft Horadric gems itself.

Where do Grand gems drop in Season 15?

Patch 3.2.1 made Whisper Gem Caches give one Royal or Grand gem, depending on difficulty, and Elites in Torment X and above now drop Royal gems and Gem Fragments more often.

Can I convert gems I do not need?

Yes, at the Jeweler. Since patch 3.1.0 in June 2026 each conversion recipe uses two gem types.
