What you get

Select Item Slot: any of 10 slots: Helm, Chest, Gloves, Legs, Boots, Amulet, Ring 1, Ring 2, Main Hand and Off-Hand. Each ticked slot is one piece.
Choose Stats: 1 Stat Guaranteed, 2 Stats Guaranteed or 3 Stats Guaranteed on each piece.
Affix Rarity: Normal Affixes, or Greater Affixes for the chosen stats.
Choose Server: the Seasonal or the Eternal realm.
Other gear and materials that drop while the pieces are farmed stay on your character.

How Ancestral items roll

With the Lord of Hatred update, Common, Magic and Rare drops in Torment can be Ancestral as well and even hold Greater Affixes, because the Horadric Cube can add affixes to them and raise their rarity.
A Legendary item has four affixes plus its Legendary Aspect, and on an Ancestral Legendary the Aspect can roll a higher maximum.
The loot filter checks items for one to four Greater Affixes.
Gear can be traded until it is Masterworked, Tempered or changed in the Horadric Cube.

Note: Season 15 added Affix Value Reroll to the Horadric Cube. It rerolls the base affixes of a piece while its Greater Affixes, Tempers, Enchanted affixes and Transfigurations stay.

Requirements

A level 70 character on the realm you choose. Level 70 has been the cap for every player since update 3.0.

BiS Ancestral gear FAQ

What does BiS mean for my build?

Best in slot: the piece and stat list your build wants in that slot. After payment the manager agrees that list with you in live chat or Discord.

Can the pieces be upgraded later?

Yes. Masterworking raises Quality up to rank 25, and Tempering adds an extra affix. Both bind the item to your account.
