Mythic is an item quality in Diablo 4. Since patch 3.1.0 of 30 June 2026 any Unique can drop as a Mythic Unique or be upgraded into one, and a small group of items, the Iconic Mythics, exist only at Mythic quality. This section sells the Iconic Mythics one item at a time and adds two bundles for Mythic gear and Mythic runes. Each of the twelve single items offers Piloted as its only Delivery Method, which fits the rule that Mythic Uniques are bound to the account that receives them.

How Mythics are obtained in Season 15
Lair Bosses open from Torment I, and any of them can drop any Iconic Mythic, because the Iconics share one pool. Patch 3.2.1 raised the Mythic chance from Initiate Lair Bosses to the level of the Greater ones, raised it a little for Greater Lair Bosses and for Belial, and raised the chance from random sources. Echo of Mephisto's loot also contains a Mythic drop. The Season Rank hands out five Mythic Unique Caches, and the Blacksmith sells a cache that rolls only Iconic Mythics for the same cost as the regular Mythic Unique cache; its result is random.
Crafting a Mythic from a Unique
Ordinary Mythic Uniques have three routes: the Horadric Cube recipe that upgrades a chosen item directly to Mythic, the Jeweler's rune crafting and the Blacksmith's Mythic cache. The Cube recipe copies the item one to one, with its affixes, Tempering and Masterworking, but it cannot take an Unmodifiable item. Only Mythics made with that recipe carry the Crafted tag, and a character can wear one Crafted item. Iconic Mythics have no Unique version, so there is no Unique to upgrade. The Horadric Cube itself belongs to the Lord of Hatred expansion.
The two bundles
Mythic Unique Gear lets you choose from 13 Iconic Mythics or from nine gear slots. The Mythic Runewords Bundle sells the runes for one Jeweler Mythic slot recipe, in sets of six, twelve or eighteen of each rune, with one or two Resplendent Sparks as an option. Both lots list their exact options on the product page.
Patch 3.1.0 changed several Mythics
Blizzard reworked a number of Mythic powers on 30 June 2026, so guides written earlier can describe old versions. Harlequin Crest lost its Damage Reduction and now gives +6 Ranks to all Skills instead of +4. The Grandfather's Critical Strike Damage bonus fell from 150% to 120%. Shroud of False Death now saves you from one fatal hit and stays off until you return to town. Tyrael's Might fires fewer divine projectiles and now carries 20% Damage Reduction in its power. Each product page states the current version of its item.
What is the difference between a Unique and a Mythic Unique?
A Mythic Unique is the higher quality version of a Unique. Any Unique can be one, apart from the Iconic Mythics, which exist only as Mythics.
Can a Mythic be traded?
No. Mythic Uniques are always bound to the account that receives them.
Are Mythic Items sold for every class?
Most are open to all or nearly all classes. Ahavarion is limited to Druid and Sorcerer, The Grandfather to four classes and Nesekem to Spiritborn.
