Ring of Starless Skies is an Iconic Mythic ring that any class can wear. Spending your Primary Resource lowers the Resource cost of your Skills and adds 10% damage for 3 seconds, stacking up to 50%. It has been in Diablo IV since the 2023 launch as one of the ultra-rare Uniques, and in Season 15 endgame guides it shows up for Necromancer, Paladin, Spiritborn, Druid, Warlock and Barbarian builds alike.

What it does

Each spend of Primary Resource adds a stack: 10% damage for 3 seconds, up to 50%.
The bonus is a multiplier, marked [x] on the tooltip, so it scales with the rest of your damage.
Spending also lowers the Resource cost of your Skills, which is why resource-hungry builds want it.
Since patch 3.1.0 every copy carries Primary Core Stat and Attack Speed as fixed affixes.

Builds that rank it high

Sever Necromancer, Blight Necromancer and Fist of the Heavens Paladin put it first in their Mythic priority order.
Pulverize Druid and Quill Volley Spiritborn list it second; Quill Volley counts on the cost reduction because Rod of Kepeleke's Vigor use takes it into account.
Hell Fracture Warlock, Minion Warlock and Twisting Blades Rogue use it to keep resource in check; Minion Barbarian takes it for the damage multiplier.

Where it drops

The ring is Mythic-only, with no Unique version. Iconic Mythics sit in a pool that every Lair Boss shares, so any of them can drop it, and since patch 3.2.1 (15 September 2026) Initiate Lair Bosses drop Mythic Uniques as often as Greater Lair Bosses. Season 15 also gave the Blacksmith a second Mythic cache that rolls only Iconic Mythics.

The ring on a Seasonal or Eternal character, Softcore or Hardcore, in a Quantity of 1 to 10. Delivery is Piloted only; Completion Speed can be Normal, Express or Super Express.
