Tyrael's Might is an Iconic Mythic chest armor that every class can use. Its power has two halves: a flat 20% Damage Reduction, and a divine barrage that your Skills unleash while you are at full Life. The armor joined Diablo IV with Season 4, Loot Reborn, in May 2024; patch 3.1.0 in June 2026 trimmed the barrage and made the Damage Reduction part of the power itself.

Key facts

Item	Iconic Mythic Unique chest armor
Classes	All classes
Unique power	Gain 20% Damage Reduction; while at full Life your Skills unleash a divine barrage that deals damage
Patch 3.1.0 change	Fewer divine barrage projectiles; 20% Damage Reduction added to the Mythic power (30 June 2026)
Fixed affixes	Primary Core Stat and All Resistances % (since patch 3.1.0)
Unique version	None; Mythic quality only
Drop sources	Any Lair Boss; Iconic Mythics share one pool across the Lair Bosses
Introduced	Season 4, Loot Reborn (patch 1.4.0, May 2024)
Season 15 builds	Rend Barbarian and Minion Barbarian, as a defensive chest choice

What it does

Damage Reduction: 20%, part of the Mythic power since patch 3.1.0.
Divine barrage: at full Life each Skill releases the barrage; patch 3.1.0 lowered how many projectiles it fires.
Fixed affixes since patch 3.1.0: Primary Core Stat and All Resistances %.
Patch 3.1.0 also fixed a bug that left the barrage dealing no damage.

Who wears it in Season 15

The armor is a defensive pick rather than a damage piece. Rend Barbarian guides take it for the Damage Reduction and Resistances, and its barrage pulls the attention of monsters along your path. Minion Barbarian lists it as the safer chest, giving up some offense for toughness, and points out that the bolts lure distant enemies and pick off weak ones.

Where it drops

Mythic-only, with no Unique version. Iconic Mythics form one pool shared by the Lair Bosses, so it can come from any of them, and patch 3.2.1 (15 September 2026) slightly raised the Mythic Unique drop rate of the Greater Lair Bosses and of Belial.

What you get

The armor for your character on the Seasonal or Eternal realm, Softcore or Hardcore, 1 to 10 copies. Piloted is the only Delivery Method; Completion Speed comes as Normal, Express or Super Express.

Requirements
