The Aion franchise covers two live games. Aion 2 is NCSOFT's sequel, set about 200 years after the original: it opened in Korea and Taiwan in November 2025 and launched worldwide on PC, through Steam and NC's PURPLE launcher, on 5 October 2026. The global servers are in their first season with a level cap of 45 and eight classes. Aion Classic is the older game rebuilt on separate servers, run by NC in North America and by Gameforge in Europe, where Update 4.5 "Ignite" arrived in February 2026.

Most questions start at level 45. The Aion 2 dungeons and raids glossary explains Expeditions and the Exploration and Conquest difficulties, Transcendence stages, Odyle Energy, the Ascension Trial, Sealed Dungeons, Strongholds and the Ludra raid. The progression, classes and Abyss glossary covers item level and Combat Power, the Daevanion board, Arcana, Stigma, Empyrean Traces, Abyss Points and Kina.
