League of Legends Wiki

League of Legends has a spoken vocabulary that new players tend to pick up late, often from an announcer line or a teammate in chat. The Onlyfarms wiki spells those words out in plain English, one entry per term, and the list below is sorted A-Z.

When you kill a champion who has built up a big gold bounty, the game announces a Shut Down and you collect that bounty. Kill streaks have named calls too: Godlike comes at seven kills in a row without dying, and Legendary at eight or more. An Invade means walking into the enemy half of the jungle to gain information, and a jungler may steal camps while there. Away from the fighting, the Icon Border entry covers the frame around your summoner icon, which you unlock as your summoner level rises and which also shows on the Loading Screen.
