FACEIT rates CS2 players by Elo, a number that starts at 100 and has no ceiling, and groups it into ten skill levels; Level 10 begins at 2,001. This boost can be ordered either by level, from 1 up to 10, or by an exact Elo figure up to 3,000. Matches are played in FACEIT CS2 matchmaking until your account reaches the target.

What the Level and Elo options mean

By level: the order ends when your profile shows the target level. Level 4 starts at 901 Elo, Level 7 at 1,351, Level 9 at 1,751 and Level 10 at 2,001.
By Elo: for a precise number, which matters above 2,001 where the level badge stops changing. Challenger, the top 1,000 Level 10 players, is decided by Elo alone.
Solo Only: the booster queues on your account alone, without a party, so every match in your history is a solo game.

How Elo moves on FACEIT

Each win or loss shifts Elo by an amount based on your team's predicted chance of winning, so a win against a stronger lobby pays more.
Seasons last four months. Season 9 opened on 5 August 2026.
Since Season 8, each season begins with a soft reset and 10 placement matches during which your Elo is hidden. The highest Level 10 accounts get the strongest compression.

Requirements

A FACEIT account with CS2 added and linked to your Steam account.
Your current level or Elo set correctly on the slider, because the order covers the range between the two values.
Brand-new FACEIT accounts start at 1,000 Elo, or at a value converted from Premier Rating if the account has Prime and enough Premier wins.

FAQ: CS2 FACEIT boost

Will the next season undo the level I bought?

Partly. The season-start soft reset scales by tier and hits the top of Level 10 hardest, then 10 placement matches set your new start. With four-month seasons, the next one is due around early December 2026.

Is Level 10 the same as Challenger?

No. Level 10 covers any Elo from 2,001. Challenger is the top 1,000 Level 10 players, and the badge goes away if you drop out of that group.
