Tempoross is a cooperative boss fought with skills rather than combat. It needs 35 Fishing: players catch and cook harpoonfish to load the cannons, then fish energised fish to reduce its essence. It arrived on 24 March 2021 and is members-only. This lot delivers the number of kills you set, from 1 to 100, on your account.

What the rewards are

Points earned in the fight turn into reward permits: one for the first 2,000 points and one more for every 700 points beyond that. Leftover points give a rising chance of one extra permit.
Each permit searches the reward pool. The unique items per search are the fish barrel and tackle box (1/400 each), the big harpoonfish and tome of water (1/1600 each), and the dragon harpoon and the tiny tempor pet (1/8000 each).
Experience comes during the fight, mostly Fishing with Cooking when harpoonfish are cooked. Unlike Wintertodt, defeating Tempoross pays no bonus experience.

How rewards are decided

The base Fishing level at the moment the pool is searched sets the rewards, not boosts. The number of permits per kill depends on the points scored, so the lot sells kills rather than a fixed amount of permits.

Starting a game

Players board the boat at the Ruins of Unkah. The Solo-start option on the rope ladder begins a game alone; otherwise it starts 30 seconds after the first player boards.

Ironman accounts can earn rewards when they defeat Tempoross alongside other players.

Are fish crates or Spirit angler gear part of the rewards?

No. The reward pool gives spirit flakes, caskets, soaked pages and the uniques listed above. The Spirit angler outfit is a separate item.

Do boosted levels change the drops?

No. The drops depend on the base Fishing level when the pool is searched.
