The Kirin Tor is the conclave of mages that governs Dalaran, and in WoW Forever the city stands in the Alterac Mountains with a five-player dungeon of its own. This lot raises your Kirin Tor reputation to the standing you choose, up to Exalted, through the faction's quests as the game offers them.

Key facts

Faction	An elite cadre of the most powerful wizards in the world and the ruling conclave of magi that leads the magical nation of Dalaran
Dungeon	City of Dalaran: Alterac Mountains, levels 28 to 33; groups enter through the sewers after earning the Kirin Tor's trust
Attunement	Alliance: "An Alarming Request" from Emissary Jacques in Southshore. Horde: "Key to the City" and "Prison Break-In" from Magus Wordeen Voidglare in Tarren Mill
Reputation quests	Seven quests award Kirin Tor reputation in the game data, all of them Alliance quests: An Alarming Request, Friend of the Kirin Tor, Starving Arcane and Heart of Disruption (the last two inside the dungeon), Past Due, The Magical City of Dalaran and Exploring the Alliance
Vendor rewards	Azure Skyforged, Gustwoven, Windraveled and Stormsewn recipes for blacksmithing, leatherworking and tailoring, and the Kirin Tor Tabard

Dalaran and the Kirin Tor

Blizzard describes City of Dalaran as a dungeon for levels 28 to 33 that groups enter through the sewers after earning the Kirin Tor's trust. The attunement questline starts with "An Alarming Request" in Southshore for the Alliance, and with "Key to the City" and "Prison Break-In" in Tarren Mill for the Horde. In the game data "An Alarming Request" pays a small amount of Kirin Tor reputation, the two quests inside the dungeon pay more, and the faction list also holds "Past Due" and "The Magical City of Dalaran".

Kirin Tor FAQ

Is this the City of Dalaran Dungeon lot?

No. This order is about Kirin Tor standing. Full dungeon clears are sold as City of Dalaran Dungeon, and that lot needs the attunement done first.

Can a Horde character order it?

Horde characters start the dungeon attunement in Tarren Mill, but in the game data all seven quests that pay Kirin Tor reputation are Alliance quests. The manager confirms the route for a Horde character in live chat before the work starts.

Which standings can I order?

Set Current Reputation Level to Neutral, Friendly, Honored or Revered and a higher Desired Reputation Level, up to Exalted. The steps between the two are worked.

Can I order before the game launches?

Yes, as a pre-order. WoW Forever launches on 4 November 2026.
