What are Amplified Fragments for?

They repair Amplified Weapons. The old Anvil Splitter item, which no longer drops, can be recycled into them. They are on the list in units of 5.

How do I know the size of one unit?

It is part of the option name. "Simple Gun Parts x70" means 70 pieces per unit, and items without a number, such as the Guitar, are a single piece.
