The Wylder's Remembrance is a chain of four quests in Elden Ring Nightreign: Slate Whetstone, the Wylder's Chalice, the Silver Tear and an unmarked final quest. The Wylder is the well-rounded swordsman of the eight base-game Nightfarers. This lot completes the whole chain. The only method on the page is Piloted, and the platforms are PC, PlayStation and Xbox.

What the four quests ask for

Slate Whetstone: speak to the Iron Menial, then start an expedition as Wylder and find a whetstone in the mines in the southeast of the map. Bringing it back rewards the Slate Whetstone relic.
The Wylder's Chalice: search three books in the library, go down to the crypt below the Roundtable Hold, then ask the Duchess on the shore whether she is trapped. This rewards the Wylder's Chalice, a vessel.
The Silver Tear: open the chest in the Noklateo Shifting Earth, which a Mimic Troll guards, during an expedition. This rewards the Silver Tear relic.
The unmarked quest: defeat the Night Aspect as Wylder with the Silver Tear equipped, then interact with its corpse instead of entering the Roundtable Hold. It rewards The Wylder's Earring relic and ends the journal.

What you get

The three relics named above, the Wylder's Chalice and the other extra vessels for relic rites, and the Remembrance garb that finishing every quest unlocks. The quests cannot be replayed. Quest 1 opens with chapter 3 of the Wylder's journal, quest 2 with chapter 5 and quest 3 with chapter 7.

Requirements

The Duchess unlocked on the account, since the Wylder's journal only advances after that. If she is not, that unlock comes first.
The Night Aspect expedition reachable, which needs four Nightlords beaten.

Why does the Silver Tear matter at the end?

The final quest only counts if the Night Aspect is defeated with the Silver Tear equipped as Wylder. Without it, the ordinary ending plays.

Which patch touched the Wylder's rewards?

Patch 1.03.2 of 16 January 2026 changed The Wylder's Earring: the burn damage from its effect now fills the Art gauge.
