• Housing. A small plot costs 3,000,000 to 3,750,000 gil, a medium one 16 to 20 million and a large one 40 to 50 million, depending on the plot's grade. Building adds a permit of 450,000, 1,000,000 or 3,000,000 gil.
• Getting a plot. All land is sold through a lottery with a 9-day cycle, so a purchase needs the gil ready when you win.
• Scale. A 10 million order covers a small plot of any grade with its permit (at most 4,200,000), while a top-grade large plot with its permit comes to 53,000,000.

• You pick your home world's region, give your character name, stay online on that world and be ready to trade.
• Amounts near the cap need room: a character already holding 100 million has space for at most 899,999,999 more.

• The page offers four regions, while the game groups worlds by data center: Aether, Crystal, Primal and Dynamis in North America, Chaos and Light in Europe, Elemental, Gaia, Mana and Meteor in Japan, and Materia in Oceania.
• Housing, Free Company and retainers belong to your home world, so tell the manager the world, not only the region.

• A character with an active subscription. A trial account cannot receive the order.
• Your home world and character name.

What is the most gil one character can hold?

999,999,999. Each retainer holds the same amount, so large totals can be kept on retainers.

Why does a free trial account not work?

Trial accounts are capped at 300,000 gil, so even the smallest order of 10 million cannot be received.
