World of Warcraft: Forever is Blizzard's permanent Classic-style branch of WoW. It launches on 4 November 2026 with a level cap of 60 that does not rise, and orders for this lot are worked once the game is live. In the beta data, Mining there is taught in four ranks that run up to a skill of 300. This lot raises the skill across the slider ranges 0-150, 150-225, 225-250, 250-275 and 275-300, on a PvE, PvP or RP realm.

What each Mining rank needs

Apprentice: skill 1 to 75, trained at character level 5.
Journeyman: skill 75 to 150. Train it at skill 50, from character level 10.
Expert: skill 150 to 225. Train it at skill 125, from level 20.
Artisan: skill 225 to 300. Train it at skill 200, from level 35.

What the ore route looks like

The beta client keeps the Classic vein levels: Copper Vein at skill 1, Tin at 65, Iron at 125, Gold at 155, Mithril at 175, Truesilver at 230, Small Thorium at 245 and Rich Thorium at 275.
Forever adds two bars. Azerothium Bar is smelted at 275 from 2 Pitchblende and 1 Coal. Heavy Thorium Bar is smelted at 300 and needs a Molten Foundry.
Those two bars feed 48 new recipes: 39 Blacksmithing, 7 Engineering, 1 Alchemy and 1 Enchanting.
Reaching 150, 225 and 300 for the first time also earns Legacy Points.

Requirements

A Forever character with Mining learned and the level for the rank your range reaches: 10 for Journeyman, 20 for Expert, 35 for Artisan.
The realm type you play: PvE, PvP or RP. Hardcore realms come later and are not offered.

Are these skill numbers final?

No. They come from the beta client, which runs from 17 September to 22 October 2026, and the data source states that values may change before release.

Does the top range need a Molten Foundry?

Only the Heavy Thorium Bar does. It is smelted at skill 300. The Azerothium Bar at 275 is smelted without it.
