OSRS Kalphite Queen Kill

• Two forms. She has 255 hitpoints in each form, and the second form must be finished within 20 minutes or she returns to the first.
• Prayers. Form 1 uses Protect from Magic and Protect from Missiles, form 2 uses Protect from Melee. They raise her defence against those styles instead of blocking damage, and bringing two combat styles is recommended.
• Damage. Her max hit is 31 with all three styles, and each ranged shot drains a prayer point.
• Access. The lair needs two ropes, which the hard Desert Diary makes permanent, and one kill counts toward that diary's hard task.

• Every kill: one regular drop and one consumable drop.
• Uniques: dragon chainbody 1/128, dragon 2h sword 1/256, dragon pickaxe 1/400.
• Collectibles: kq head 1/128, the Kalphite Princess pet at 1/3000, and a tattered kq head on your 256th kill overall.

Over 100 kills that averages about 0.8 chainbodies, 0.4 two-handed swords and 0.25 pickaxes, so a chosen drop is never guaranteed.

• 80 Magic and Ranged, 70 Strength, 60 Attack and Defence.
• 43 Prayer, the level that opens Protect from Melee.
• Decent Magic and Ranged gear.

Is 100 kills enough for the Kalphite Princess?

The pet is a 1/3000 drop, so 100 kills give roughly a 3% chance. The tattered kq head is the only guaranteed collectible, and it comes on your 256th kill overall, not the 256th of an order.
