Key facts
| Level cap | 70 in The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary |
|---|---|
| Flying skills | Expert Riding (skill 225) gives 60% flying speed and Artisan Riding (skill 300) gives 280%; both were added in patch 2.0.3 |
| Ground riding | Journeyman Riding (skill 150) is the rank for faster mounted riding on the ground |
| Karazhan attunement | The Master's Key is the key and attunement for Karazhan; its quest chain starts with Archmage Alturus outside Karazhan and ends with Return to Khadgar |
| Heroic keys | Five heroic keys: Flamewrought (Hellfire Citadel dungeons; Honor Hold or Thrallmar), Reservoir (Coilfang Reservoir; Cenarion Expedition), Auchenai (Auchindoun; Lower City), Warpforged (Tempest Keep; Sha'tar) and Key of Time (Caverns of Time; Keepers of Time) |
| Communal keys | On Anniversary realms the heroic keys are Communal keys, available at Revered with the faction and bound to the account; an alt still needs at least Friendly with that faction |
| Badges of Justice | Every boss of a heroic dungeon drops one Badge of Justice, which buys epic gear from special vendors |
| Release | Phase 1 went live on 5 February 2026 with the base Burning Crusade content |
