How the Spire came to be held

The dwarf mason Franclorn Forgewright designed the spire as a symbol of Dark Iron power. In the days of the Old Horde the Shadow Council built a secret refuge there, and once the Horde had beaten the Council, the Dark Irons let it claim the spire as its headquarters. Nefarian, son of Deathwing, then seized the upper spire, and he left Rend Blackhand, warchief of the Dark Horde, to defend the peak.

Lower and Upper

The spire is split into Lower Blackrock Spire and Upper Blackrock Spire. The Dungeon Parts choice lists Lower and Upper, and Boost Options lets you take Specific parts or the Full dungeon run.

On the way to Onyxia

Blizzard's attunement for Onyxia's Lair, part of the raid release of 9 December 2026, runs through the spire. The Horde chain takes you through Lower Blackrock Spire and Upper Blackrock Spire, while the Alliance chain ends in Upper Blackrock Spire. The order covers a dungeon clear, not the full attunement chain.

What you get

The Lower part, the Upper part or both cleared per run, with one to thirty runs on the order.
Spire quests turned in during each run.
Experience from the Dark Horde and dragonkin packs and the bosses.
Drops from each run, handled by the loot option you select.

Requirements

A character of level 55 or higher.
PvE, PvP or RP on the order, to match the character.
The 4 November 2026 launch of WoW Forever.

Blackrock Spire FAQ

Is this the same as Blackrock Depths?

No. Both sit in Blackrock Mountain, but Blackrock Depths is the Dark Iron capital below, and it has its own order.

Does the order give me the Drakefire Amulet?

Not on its own. The amulet is the reward at the end of Blizzard's attunement chain for Onyxia's Lair. The chain's last dungeon step, the blood of General Drakkisath, is taken in Upper Blackrock Spire, but its earlier quests happen elsewhere and are not part of this order.

How ordering works

Pick your options and place the order.
A manager confirms the details and the method you picked (piloted, self-play or remote control) in live chat or Discord.
We assign a booster; the queue follows your speed option and order time.
Ask the manager for progress at any time.

Speed: Normal keeps your place in the regular queue. Express gives the order higher priority, Super Express the highest priority we offer.

Boost methods explainedPiloted · Self-play · Remote control

Our dragon booster plays your character on the computer with a gamepad while the fox sleeps: you stay offline.

Piloted

A booster logs in to your account and plays while you stay offline.
You share the login with the manager; the booster connects through a VPN matched to your region.

The fox and our dragon booster stand together in one party: you play side by side in a group.

Self-play

You play your own account in a group or squad with our booster, at a time agreed with the manager.
Your login is not shared.
Loot that drops in the group can be traded to you in game.

The fox points at your own screen, where our dragon booster moves the cursor remotely: you watch while the booster plays on your PC.

Remote control

The booster plays on your own PC through a remote-access app.
You can watch the screen the whole time; your login is not shared.
Keep your PC on with the game running and a stable connection, and stay available during the session.
