Darkspear Islands is a 15v15 battleground that is new to WoW Forever, set off the coast of Dustwallow Marsh, and it brings two reputations with it: the Darkspear Raiders for the Horde and the Theramore Expeditionary Force for the Alliance. This lot raises the faction you choose from your current standing to the one you order, so the Marks of Honor and battleground quests are off your plate.
Key facts
| Battleground | 15v15 capture-point battleground with a central flag; levels 30 to 60; off the coast of Dustwallow Marsh; the team that reaches 2000 points wins |
|---|---|
| Factions | Darkspear Raiders (Horde) and Theramore Expeditionary Force (Alliance), each with its own reputation track |
| Bases | Horde: Merchant Coast in the Barrens. Alliance: Northwatch |
| Reputation source | Marks of Honor are turned in through the faction's reputation quests (Blizzard); in the game data a hand-in takes three Darkspear Islands Marks of Honor, and another quest asks for a won match |
| Exalted reward | A short questline for the faction's exclusive tabard |
| Vendor gear | Trinkets, rings, cloaks, weapons, armor pieces and consumables, unlocked at different reputation thresholds (Blizzard); the game data adds versions for required levels 28 to 60 |
| Legacy Challenge | Exalted with each of the four battleground reputations is one Legacy Challenge, worth one Legacy Point |
How the battleground reputation works
- The battleground takes players from level 30 to 60. Teams hold four capture points and fight over a central flag, and the side that reaches 2,000 points wins.
- Each faction keeps a base with vendors and quests: the Merchant Coast in the Barrens for the Raiders, Northwatch for the Expeditionary Force.
- Marks of Honor from the battleground are turned in through the faction's reputation quests, and each hand-in moves your standing.
- Exalted opens a short questline for the faction's own tabard.
The vendors sell trinkets, rings, cloaks, weapons, armor pieces and consumables, and each new reputation threshold opens more of the stock.
What you get
- Your chosen faction raised to the standing you order, up to Exalted.
- The faction's battleground quests and repeatable activities done on your account.
- Experience, gold and items from the run stay with your character.
Requirements
- A level 60 character whose side matches the faction: the Darkspear Raiders are Horde, the Theramore Expeditionary Force is Alliance.
- A WoW subscription or Game Time. Keep off the account while the matches are played for you.
- Under Choose Ruleset, the ruleset your character was made in: PvE, PvP or RP.
Darkspear Islands FAQ
Is this the same as the Alterac Valley reputation?
No. Every battleground keeps its own reputation, and reaching Exalted with each of the four is a Legacy Challenge worth one Legacy Point. This order is for the Darkspear Islands pair alone.
Which standings can I order?
Your Current Reputation Level can be Neutral, Friendly, Honored or Revered, and the Desired Reputation Level any later standing through Exalted. The steps in between are worked.
Is it too early to order?
No. It is a pre-order until the WoW Forever launch on 4 November 2026.
