GTA Online Businesses, Missions and Locations
GTA Online has grown through dozens of updates, so the same name can mean a business you buy, a job you start from a phone call or a spot on the map. Some names even mean two things: Smoke on the Water is a story-mode property for Franklin and, since 2025, a separate GTA Online business. This page explains six of those names with prices, unlocks and payouts, and points to the related pages that stay separate.
Status on 2 November 2026: the latest GTA Online content update is The Kortz Center Heist (14 July 2026), an art-gallery heist for mansion owners. Rockstar's official page lists Grand Theft Auto VI for 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S; GTA Online is a separate game and keeps running. On PC, GTA V exists as the older Legacy edition and the Enhanced edition released on 4 March 2025. Prices below are in GTA$ and are the standard prices before any weekly discount.

Dax Fooligan Missions
Fooligan Jobs are Free Mode jobs from Dax, the leader of the Fooliganz, added in the Los Santos Drug Wars update on 13 December 2022. They unlock once the Fooliganz set up The Freakshop at the end of the mission First Dose 1 (Welcome to the Troupe). After that you phone Dax and choose Request Work.

The five jobs are:
- Crop Dustin': spray herbicide on weed fields from a Duster, then destroy a tanker of vape juice.
- Heavy Metal: recover a Bobcat XL full of copper wire and kill the gang leader who stole it.
- Liquid Assets: poison the water supply of an Epsilon Program weed farm, then fight through hallucinations on the way out.
- Working Remotely: rig a GoPostal van with explosives, park it in gang territory and detonate it. This one also unlocks The GoPostal outfit.
- Write-Off: destroy Merryweather convoys and a Merryweather depot.
The jobs matter beyond the cash: after ten completed Fooligan Jobs you can buy the Acid Lab Equipment Upgrade for $250,000, which raises production speed and product value. It is the only upgrade the Acid Lab has, because the lab cannot be raided. The Call Me award tracks your total at 5, 10, 20 and 50 jobs.
Del Perro Pier
Del Perro Pier is the seaside pier in Del Perro, western Los Santos, reached mainly via Red Desert Avenue. It is a near-direct copy of the Santa Monica Pier in California, down to a carousel building and a harbour office based on the real ones. The pier holds the Pleasure Pier amusement park with the Leviathan roller coaster and the Ferris Whale, plus shops, restaurants and telescopes. Expect crowds: walkers, people leaning over the rails and street performers.
In the GTA V story it appears in three missions:
- Daddy's Little Girl: Michael and Jimmy end a bike ride at the pier.
- Meltdown: Michael meets Lester here after the Merryweather attack on his house.
- The Third Way (ending C): Trevor has to kill Steve Haines while he films on the Ferris wheel.
In GTA Online the pier is the setting of Del Perro Pier LTS, a Last Team Standing job for 2 to 12 players in two teams, unlocked at Rank 16.
Document Forgery Office
The Document Forgery Office is one of the five Motorcycle Club businesses from the Bikers update, alongside the Weed Farm, Counterfeit Cash Factory, Methamphetamine Lab and Cocaine Lockup. You need a Clubhouse first ($200,000 to $495,000), then you buy the office from The Open Road website on the Clubhouse laptop.

All four share one interior. Right after purchase the office is empty, with eight bare desks, and you run a setup mission from The Open Road admin laptop; then staff move in and fill the shelves with passports and ID cards.

Supplies cost $15,000 per unit, or $75,000 for a full bar, and you can steal them instead (one supply mission type is unique to forgery: meeting an identity dealer). Selling to buyers on the other side of the city and countryside border pays a 50% premium. Forgery has the lowest stock value of the five MC businesses, so many players buy it mainly to feed a Nightclub: the Nightclub warehouse's Printing & Copying goods need a Document Forgery Office.
Los Santos International Airport
LSIA (also LSX) is the international airport in the south-west of Los Santos, next to the Port of Los Santos and modelled on Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). It has four main terminals, two parking garages, a control tower and the Sightings Bar and Restaurant, a nod to the Theme Building at LAX. GTA V was the first HD-universe GTA where you can fly the large airliners.

In story mode, entering the runways gives you a three-star wanted level unless Michael or Franklin owns a hangar there. Since The Business Update both have tarmac access from the start; Trevor never does.
In GTA Online the gates stay closed, so players often use the stunt ramp near a gate or a weak fence. LSIA is also a business location: LSIA Hangar A17 ($1,200,000) and LSIA Hangar 1 ($1,525,000) are the two cheapest hangars from the Smuggler's Run update. Aircraft bought from Elitás Travel and Warstock Cache & Carry spawn at the airport when requested inside Los Santos.
Not to be confused with the 3D-universe airport of the same name in GTA San Andreas.
Self Radio
Self Radio is a custom radio station in the PC versions only of GTA V and GTA Online, both the Legacy and Enhanced editions. It does not exist on PlayStation or Xbox.
How to set it up:
- Copy MP3, WMA or M4A files, or shortcuts to them, into Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\User Music.
- Start the game. It scans the folder at launch and adds Self Radio to the radio wheel, between iFruit Radio and Los Santos Rock Radio in GTA V, or between iFruit Radio and Still Slipping Los Santos in GTA Online.
- Pick a mode: in order, shuffled, or as a radio show with ads, station IDs and talk from the DJs Cliff Lane and Andee.
There is no limit on the number of tracks. With the default bindings the Minus key skips forward and the Equal key skips back. If the folder is empty or has not been scanned, Self Radio does not show up in the wheel at all.
Things that surprise players:
- Other players in your car hear their own music, never yours. A passenger who tunes in without any songs gets switched to Los Santos Rock Radio.
- Self Radio tracks cannot be added to Rockstar Editor clips.
- Artist and title are cut at 31 characters.
Smoke on the Water
Smoke on the Water is a medical marijuana dispensary on the Vespucci Beach Sidewalk. The name covers two different things.
In GTA V story mode it is a property only Franklin can buy, for $204,000, after the mission Friends Reunited. It pays $9,300 a week and pays for itself in about 22 in-game weeks, the shortest return of any weekly-income property in the story. The manager, Jared, sometimes calls Franklin for delivery jobs with the dispensary's own Pony van, which is slightly faster and tougher than the normal one.
In GTA Online it is a money-laundering front added in the Money Fronts update on 17 June 2025.

You launch the legitimate work from the office computer to keep the Heat bar down. Income builds passively while Heat stays under 100%, but it is collected from the safe at the Hands On Car Wash, not at the shop. Owning it also unlocks the daily Smoke on the Water Product collectible.
The Smoke on the Water Week was a separate bonus event from 10 to 16 July 2025.

How many Fooligan Jobs are there?
Five, picked at random: Crop Dustin', Heavy Metal, Liquid Assets, Working Remotely and Write-Off. Each pays GTA$50,000 and RP, with a 48-minute cooldown between completed jobs. Ten completions unlock the Acid Lab Equipment Upgrade.
What is the cheapest Document Forgery Office?
Grapeseed, at $650,000. Paleto Bay costs $732,000, Elysian Island $975,000 and Textile City $1,235,000, and you need a Clubhouse before you can buy any of them.
Is Self Radio on consoles?
No. Self Radio exists only in the PC versions of GTA V and GTA Online, both Legacy and Enhanced. It needs music files in the User Music folder of your Documents.
Is Smoke on the Water in GTA Online the same as in story mode?
No. In story mode Franklin buys it for $204,000 and earns $9,300 a week. In GTA Online it is an $850,000 laundering front from the Money Fronts update that requires the Hands On Car Wash.
Is GTA Online ending when GTA VI launches?
Rockstar has not announced an end date. GTA VI is listed for 19 November 2026, and GTA Online received its latest content update, The Kortz Center Heist, in July 2026.
