Class identity	An Elder of Welryn in his prime who uses the arcane to atone for past wrongs. After his apprentice was exiled for her defiance he searched the world for her, then returned to free Welryn from its conquerors.
Sorcerer mastery	A master of the arcane who devastates foes from a distance: lightning erupts from his fingertips and flaming meteors rain from the heavens at his will.
Spellblade mastery	A mage who mixes martial prowess with spells to fight at close range, with a sword coated in ice and flame and a shield gleaming with wards.
Runemaster mastery	A savant of runes who infuses magic into offensive and protective wards. Runemasters alter the flow of magic and can combine runes into new spells.
Mage nodes added in Season 4	The Shattered Omens patch (1.4, March 2026) gave the Mage new options such as Clash of Lightning, which converts Shatter Strike to Lightning, and Heat Flux, which makes Meteors cast Frost Claw at a nearby enemy.
Level cap and passive points	The maximum character level is 100. Every level from 3 to 100 gives a passive point (98 in total) and 8 more health.
Dungeon first-clear quests	The first boss kill in Temporal Sanctum, Lightless Arbor and Soulfire Bastion each pays 2 passive points and unlocks 1 idol slot through a short quest. The alternate dungeon exits skip part of the campaign: 6 passive points and 3 idol slots in total.
