Functionality and Mechanics
Unlike flares or chaff which must be activated manually, the Missile Lock-On Jammer is a passive modification. Once installed, it works by permanently disrupting the targeting systems of enemy missiles.
- No Lock-On: Other players cannot lock onto your vehicle with homing missiles at all. They hear the "searching" beep but never get the solid red "lock" tone.
- Skill Check: This forces opponents to rely on "free-aim" (dumb-firing) missiles, which is significantly harder to do against a moving target.
- Always Active: There is no cooldown or activation button; as long as you are driving the vehicle, the protection is live.
